'I've never been on a private jet before!' I exclaimed as I sat down in one of the plush leather seats by the window. Reid quickly sat down beside me before Morgan even had the chance and instead he sat across from me. Prentiss sat beside him as JJ sat beside Rossi behind us. 'First case hey!' Morgan exclaimed, earning a scathing look from Hotch. Prentiss palmed through a case file, a deep frown developing on her face. 'Hey, do you know him?' She passed a loose page over the table, and I had to swallow a cry. The photo pinned to the top of the page was Jacob Nilsson, one of the agents I had worked with during my time in Interpol. He was Swedish, and even now I could feel his cold blue eyes piercing into mine from the still image. I pressed my lips together into a grimace. 'No, I don't.' It seemed like an age, but I waited even longer just to be safe before excusing myself and locking myself in the small bathroom before bursting into tears.

'Hold it together Audrey.' I muttered, splashing my face with cold water in the police station sink. I had to excuse myself again during the briefing by Miami police, Jacob's eyes following me from the pin board Reid had conveniently set up in the room we had been allocated. I went to open the door as Prentiss pulled it open and I almost stumbled into her.
'Sorry, sorry.' I muttered, trying to push past.
'You alright?' She asked touching my shoulder.
'Yeah I'm fine.' I smiled tightly. 'You know, it's just that time of the month. Do you have any Paracetamol?'
'Uh yeah in my purse.'
We walked over to her bag, Reid and Rossi talking about the case across the room. I tried to keep my eyes averted from Jacob's, and instead my gaze lingered on Reid as he licked his lips thoughtfully. Prentiss followed my line of sight, a cheeky smile on her face. 'Reid huh?' She asked, giving me a nudge.
'No!' I said a little too loudly causing Reid to turn and smile at me, making me blush.
'Oh sure.' Prentiss laughed as I stared up at the ceiling wishing the ground would just swallow me up. 'Wait.' Prentiss' eyes lit up. 'Where you the girl that answered Reid's phone this morning? You totally were.' Prentiss was gleefully ushering JJ over.
'Nooo you cannot be serious.' I said covering my face.
'Monroe here has a crush on our boy Reid!' Prentiss sing-songed.
'Shh he's literally right there!' I hissed my eyes widening.
'Okay Mrs Reid.' JJ said with a smirk before getting a call. 'Okay guys.' She said loudly, gesturing everyone over. 'Another body has just be found they want us over at the crime scene.'
'Monroe and Reid, you can head over to the crime scene. Prentiss and Morgan head to the morgue.'
I smiled over at Reid who smiled back as we made our way over to the cars. I tried to ignore the kissing faces Prentiss was making before I closed the door and Reid drove away.
We drove in relative silence, my eyes glancing over every so often at his hands. Long slender fingers that tapped on the steering wheel as if they were playing a tune. 'What do we know about the vics so far?' I asked casually.
'They all have one link. Bill's bookstore. Every vic has visited it at least twice in the past year according to credit card records.'
We pulled up to a sizeable house on a nice suburban street as a detective came to greet us on the front lawn. 'I'm detective Santiago. I left the crime scene exactly how it was.' She said leading us up to a tarp on the front lawn. As it was pulled away to reveal a dead male body the first thing I noticed was the precise bullet wound to the heart. 'This doesn't match the MO.' Reid said with a frown, crouching down to examine the body. 'But...' I said kneeling down beside him to point at a faded mark on the victim's neck. 'Didn't vic 3 have this same tattoo?'
'You're right!' Reid said taking a photo on his phone and sending it over to Garcia. 'Let's hope she can find out the origin of this type of tattoo.' Reid got up, looking around. 'You'd think someone would've seen something. A man was shot in broad daylight!'
'His body was called in by his neighbour.' Detective Santiago chimed in.
'Do we know which one?' Reid asked. Detective Santiago pointed over to the house across the street. 'Thanks.'
We headed over and Reid rapped on the door repeatedly until it was finally opened by a young man, beer in hand. 'What do you want.' He drawled.
We held up our badges. 'Agents Monroe and Reid. We want to ask you about your neighbour across the street? Mr Herman?' I said glancing down at my notepad.
'Already told the police everything.' He snarled beginning to close the door, but Reid shoved his foot in between the door and the frame. 'We're not the police.' Reid said.
'Fine.' The man said letting us inside. 'But she has to ask the questions.' He said smirking over at me. I just cocked my head. We sat down in a cluttered living room. 'Nice place for such a young man.' I said patronisingly.
'Thanks sweatheart.' He said brushing off my comment. I glowered but carried on calmly. 'Did you see anything suspicious going on around the time Mr Herman was killed?' I asked.
'Nah.' He said leaning back. 'How old are you agent Monroe?'
'What does that have to do with anything?' Reid spat, tensing up beside me. I touched his arm gently. 'Tell me what happened before you called the police, what did you see?' I asked.
'Mr Herman was lying on his lawn and he had been for a couple of hours. I went out to check on him and that's when I saw the gunshot.'
'Thanks.' I said exasperated, that was probably all the information we were to get from this witness. 'C'mon Reid.' I sighed standing up.
'Yeah, c'mon Reid.' He mocked.
'Watch it.' Reid growled before grabbing my arm and virtually pulling me back out onto the street. 'What was that?' I hissed.
'Sorry.' Reid blinked and shook his head. 'That house was giving me a bad feeling.'
'Same.' I said shaking my head. 'He probably wasn't gonna give us much more anyway.'
'Let's go.' Reid said getting into the SUV.
