Find A Way Out!

Everyone stood there, silent, still, but there was fear in everyone's eyes.
I looked around for a way out. this wasn't going to be easy, we needed to get out of here, quick!
We walked back to the table, where I saw another box, smaller this time, I opened it, there was a second letter and a lid for the jar, the letter read "you try to seek me, but I hide well, who will the next be, to go with me to hell?"
Everyone was huddled together, our backs agains a wall, we looked around, I felt Jasmine start shaking next to me, she smiled at me as I asked if she was ok. we remained still for a while, we needed to escape.
"Guys... we need to find a way out and i-i think the only way out is to find what or who killed Teya... I'm sorry" Aiden spoke gentle, calming, his words made no sense in my head, I couldn't get my mind to process that one of my new friends that I'd known only 2 days had died, in my house!

1 hour later-
"Is everyone one awake?" Sophie whispered
"No, Meg and George have fell asleep. I'll go wake them up" Cameron's voice was shaky, I could tell she was terrified too, we all we're...
"No leave them, this is a good idea, we need to rest, we will take it in turns to sleep, there is 12 of us, 6 people sleep now and I'll wake them up when it's our turn. we can keep and eye out..." Sophie was confident with her idea
"Who's sleeping first?" Rory yawned
"Rory, Jasmine, Meg, George, holly and max, you can sleep first. Me, Shannon, Alix, Mia, Niamh and Aiden will stay awake for the next hour. then we will switch until morning" Sophie's idea worked.

The next morning-
We all sat awake staring at the door, "someone check if it's open?" Niamh's voice spoke from the back of the huddle.
"I-I will" Aiden said, he grabbed his hand when he stood up to pull him back, but he just smiled and I loosened the grip, he walked slowly to the door checking behind him, in front of him and to the side of him before he reached the door handle. turning it, it rattled, then opened, we all froze waiting for someone to move first, George up and ran towards the door Aiden moved out the way, when SLAM!!!!
The door shut and sliced George in half, the two halves of body splatted to the ground and everyone screamed, Aiden ran back to us, his eyes filled with guilt, and sadness.
"I'm so sorry, it's all my fault, I killed him!"
"No Aiden it wasn't your fault, there's someone or something in this house doing this. we need to take chances, I'm sorry guys that's the only way out..." I spoke directly to everyone. I made it sound like I wasn't scared when deep in my heart all I wanted was my new friends back. I wanted a normal life...
"Least it wasn't us haha" Jasmine giggled to herself
"How can you be so cruel, you little bitch my bestfriend and her boyfriend just died and you happy it wasn't you, you cow, I hope you die next" Niamh screamed
"Niamh calm down she's trying to keep us positive, she doesn't mean anything bad by it she's just not great with words, let's all stop yelling at each other and calm down. we need to stick together!" Rory replied yelling
I went over to Niamh and she lay her head on my shoulder, I wiped the tears from her eyes. Aiden came over and kissed her neck, he tried calming her down.
"I'm so scared, what do we do" Mia was shaking, I hugged her and Niamh kept her head on my shoulder, I fount myself wiping tears away from both the girls eyes. then I fount myself crying...
We needed to get out! There's no other way to find the monster killing our friends.
"Let's split up" Jasmine smiled
"Stop smiling bitch, this is serious, how can you be so happy?!" Niamh's tears rushing down her face, there's no way I could wipe all the tears away. Aiden grabbed her and wrapped her in his arms rocking her back and forth till she stopped crying and she was just making weird squeaky noises.
"Let's find this monster" Cameron and Shannon agreed.
