"Mommy, Mommy" called out the e/c eyed girl as she ran towards the sitting lady with brown hair and green eyes. She jumped into her lap only to be thrown off to the ground. Yn just looked up at her step mother as her nose started to bleed. "I'm not your mother so don't you dare call me that!" The woman yelled making the five years old flinch and started to cry.

" Quit your crying" the woman said as she covered her ears. The door then burst open revealing a man wearing formal attire. The man immediately picked up the cry child and held her in his arms. "Why must you be angry to a little child?" He asked the woman. "Just shut her up already!" She yelled then left the room.

The man set the girl down on the couch and pulled out a handkerchief and wiped her nose. "Are you alright my dear?" He asked "Daddy" the little girl cried as she hugged her father. Alexander Vadeboncoeur, a noble of the Vadeboncoeur family and a former knight of the Obelia empire.

Alexander just hugged his daughter as he let her cry in his shoulder. "Why is Mommy like that?" She asked making the man fall in silence. "Is it true that she's not my real Mommy?"

Alexander couldn't help but to recall what happened five years ago. " Daddy?" The little girl called out.

"Get ready Yn" Alexander said as he fixed his tie while looking at her daughter who was reading a book. "My, you can read in the age of five" he added as he walked over to his daughter and pat her head. "Daddy, I don't want to go" Yn pouted as she close the book and set it aside. "Must I go with you in the Alpheus Manor?" She asked as she crossed her arms. Today, Yn was supposed to meet her new playmate but since she can't go out the Alpheus Manor, Yn have to go to her instead of her going to Yn.

"Now, now, Yn, you can't be mean to her like that" Alexander said as he picked up his daughter and walked out the room. " But Daddy, if we're going to play, should I at least wear something that isn't going to stain" Yn said looking down on her dress. She was wearing a combination of white and light pink dress.

"Don't worry sweetheart, you'll be fine" Alexander reassured her daughter as he put her to the carriage then went inside.

The ride going to the Alpheus Manor was long and kinda boring making little Yn fall asleep. Her father woke her up when they arrived. Yn got out of the carriage by her own and ran towards the gate to the door only to stop when she saw a man with white hair and gold eyes. Her father soon catch up to her and stood by her side. Yn noticed a boy standing beside the man with similar looks.

"You must be Yn" said the man "I am Roger Alpheus and this is my son Ijekiel" the man introduce himself and his son. " Nice to meet you Yn" said the boy as he stuck out his hand for her to shake but Yn just hide behind her father making the boy friend a little. "You have a very shy daughter Mr. Alexander" Roger said as watched Yn. " Shall we? "

While walking through the hallway, Yn was holding on her father's leg asshe would occasionally look at the boy who would look right back at her. "Ijekiel" Roger called out to his son who immediately look up to his father. "Why don't you show Yn where Jennette is" he said and Ijekiel nodded. He then went to Yn and stuck his hand out again. Yn looked up to her father who just nodded then took Ijekiel's hand. Ijekiel lead Yn to the garden.

There stood a girl with brown hair and beautiful jewel blue eyes. "Big brother" the girl ran up to Ijekiel and hugged him. She then noticed Yn and looked at her. "This is Jennette" Ijekiel introduced the girl. "I'm Yn" Yn said as she let go of Ijekiel's hand and stuck it out. " Nice to meet you Jennette" she smiled making the girl shy.

" I..um..I like your bunny.." Jennette said while pointing at the stuffed toy Yn was holding on her other hand. She forgot that she brought it since she was kinda sleeping before going to the Manor. "Do you want it?" Yn asked making Jennette shook her head. "I-it's yours..and I would feel bad if I take it form you" Jennette answered. " Let's be friends"

2 years later

Yn just looked at Ijekiel who was sitting on the ground underneath a tree reading a book. "Jennette" she called out. Jennette hummed in response as she was busy eating her cake. "Your brother is such a snob" Yn said as she leaned back on her chair and crossed her arms. "Why would say that?" Jennette asked as she look at Ijekiel.

"He doesn't talk to me or even acknowledge my presence whenever I'm here in the Manor" Yn answered " He never call me by my name. He'll always be like 'Jennette, do your friend need something' or 'Is your friend alright me being here'"

Jennette just giggle while looking at Yn. " Jennette, it's not funny" Yn said as she huffed. " Well, it's just that, you act older than your actual age n/n" Jennette replied then looked at Ijekiel. "Big brother just feel shy and embarrass that he have to watch over the two of us"

Yn just rolled her eyes and ate her cake not knowing that Ijekiel could hear everything they were talking about.

"Are we going to the Alpheus Manor again Daddy?" Yn asked her father who shook his head. "Not today sweetheart, I'm afraid that Daddy has some meeting with the emperor" Alexander replied " You can come with me if you want"

"Fate is such a cruel thing... maybe the next time we meet.. we'll be together.."

" I'm happy..that I met you master.."

I lost you twice already..I can't lose you again..I don't want to..I can't..Your voice...it kept ringing and ringing in my head...Why did you leave? Was I not enough? Did I wronged you? All I want is for you to stay by my side...Is it too much to ask for?

I suddenly felt something or someone pull my hair causing me to wake up.

"I've caught you, Raven" said a feminine voice. "Ugh, my hair" I said "What do you think you're doing? Stop pulling"

" I said get off!"
