Let's Break Up (Broken Markgun)

"Let's break up", Gun asked Mark one day.

It was a nice day. They both just finished eating at a nice restaurant. It's been a while since they met. They both a little bit busy lately. Mark with his work, Gun with his family and friends. So it was shocking for Mark to hear what he has just heard.

"What? No! Why P'?"

Gun was not looking at Mark when he answered "I know what you are doing. Let's just stop this."

"What are you talking about?" Mark confused here. He thought today will be a good day. Met with his lover after almost one week of not meeting him. He even already planned of bringing Gun back to his apartment, because his brother is not there today.

Instead of answering Mark's question, Gun gave Mark his phone instead. The gallery was open. It full of Mark's photo, together with Perth.

Mark's face became shocked. But before he could say anything, Gun interrupted him.

"I am sorry that I spied on you. I ask P'Rhun to help me." Gun explained.

"You know how I always feel jealous of Perth. But you always said that you're both just a good friend. I believe that. Until one day, Ice sent me a photo of you with Perth together. On that day, you canceled our plan because you said you had to accompany your mother somewhere. At first, I thought it was an old photo, but Ice clearly explained that he was taking that photo just now. He even sent me a selfie photo of him with you both as a background." Gun said while showing Mark the photo in question.

"It was not a big deal you know. At that time I tried to think that maybe you just didn't want to tell me because you know it would make me jealous. So I ignored it. But somehow, after that, I realize that sometimes you would suddenly cancel our plan with your family or work as a reason. The last straw was when you suddenly said that we should reschedule our meeting to celebrate your birthday. You said your brother wanted to spend it with you. While your brother was on the phone with me, talking about a surprise we would give you."

"I told Third after that. My suspicion. My worries. He told me that maybe I had to ask my brother's help. So I did."

"Turns out those times you canceled our plans were always because of Perth. I tried to think maybe it was still okay, you know, that your meeting was completely platonic or something. But these photos tell me otherwise" Gun said while showing the photos, "You act as lovey-dovey to him as you would to me."

"So, before it ruins all our relationship. Even ruins my relationship with Perth, let's just end this?" said Gun. He was seriously tired. There were times when he felt like he was being petty. How come he's jealous of Mark and Perth. They're best friends, like Gun and Third. He tried to be positive most of the time. But, looks like he was correct to be jealous.

Mark said nothing at first. Then after a while, "I am sorry P." he said in a small voice.

OF COURSE, YOU SHOULD FEEL SORRY! Gun wanted to scream. But he felt like he had no energy anymore.

"It's okay. Let's just end it and stop contacting each other," said Gun.

Gun then took out his wallet and put some money on the table.
"This is to cover my portion. Good Bye Mark"
