We are close to making it to sanctuary, but we have to go through a dangerous ravine.

"Krieg? Are you sure we should go through this place, last I heard it was full if monsters and bandits." I call out looking at Kriegs muscular back. The only response I get is a hum from him.

"*sigh* I guess that's a yes." I grumble.

I jumped and grabbed onto krieg, hiding my face into his back. I felt him freeze and go stiff, but he slowly relaxed and started walking again dragging me with.

"Wimp, nothing will hurt you." He grumbled, I could tell he was straining himself to say a full sentence without yelling or screaming something stupid.

We've been walking for an hour now and the screams are getting louder..

Krieg stopped all of a sudden when a scream was heard, it sounded like it was right next to us!

"Krieg?" I whimper out hugging his arm in fear.

"Shh." He looked around listening for footsteps or anything that could mean danger. Then he went rigid and yanked me behind him.

"Stay close, and stay behind me girl." He growled, pulling his saw out and crouching low getting ready to lunge.

"I have a name." I grumble but do what he says. Well I try to for her then turned and pushed me behind a rock and told me to stay.

I watch what he is doing and see him talking to a big group of bandits, I could tell krieg was getting irritated for he kept swinging his axe around making it obvious that hes not scared to use it.

"Shut up." He growled to the leader, who looked at krieg shocked that he said that.

"Shut up? Idiot do you know who you are talking too!?! I am bandit chief Ja-" he wasn't able to finish for krieg then attacked him turning to the others and waiting for their next move.

"He was annoying." He grumbled, which made me let out a silent giggle. What a dangerous and twisted man and yet he still has some humor.

When I look up I am met with a large bandit staring at me, I immediately went pale.

"KRIEG!" I screamed, causing the bandit to grab my throat and hold me in the air. I could see krieg fighting and killing the bandits, but he stopped when he turned and saw me and the bandit.

"Krieg right? Well I'll make you a deal, I'll take the girl off your hands and I'll let you live. Deal?" The bandit questioned with a smirk thinking he was in control.

"Drop her, o-or else." Krieg stuttered, I could see his neck straining to stay sane.

"Or what stutter man?" The bandit teased tightening his hold on my neck.

"Or death." Krieg growled out, he waited 5 seconds for the man to drop me but he never did. He charged grabbing my waist and yanking me out of the bandits grasp, making me gasp out a pained breath and the bandit to stumble.

Krieg took his chance tossed me to the side and charged the bandit sinking his ax into the bandits chest.

"FUCK YES!!!! DIE DIE DIE DIE!" Krieg screamed with every swing of his ax.

He kept going even when the bandit was dead, it scared me.. I ran to him hugging his back.

"Enough, He's dead. It's time to go home krieg." I murmur in a soothing voice, krieg relaxed into me and sighed.

"Home?" He murmured.

"Yes, let's go home."
