"What do you mean where I'll be living? I'll be living in my place. With father and Nathalie. Can someone tell me what's going on?" He said with cute innocence plastered over his face. "Please?"
I sighed. This was going to be a tough thing to explain.

"Uhm, excuse me Miss, but, can you please tell me where I am?" He repeated as I was trying to think of a way to explain things to him.
Well, I just pulled you out of your 'miraculous ladybug world' and into mine. The hard part is, how do I explain it to you.
"Oh, well, all I can say for now is, you'll be back home in a while." And hopefully, you won't die in the process...
"Why? What's going on? Is everything okay? And...why does your tele have a hole in it..?" Ugh. Why did he have to be so nosy?
"Uhh..yeah Adrien! Everything is fine! You're father said that..umm..you'll be staying here for a while! He umm..he was too busy to tell you! He and Nathalie had to go on a trip..and..umm..they aren't sure how long they'll be until they come back! So..you'll be living with me from now on. Oh and don't worry about the tele." I said, trying to sound cool. But, I failed miserably. Cool and me? We don't belong together.
"Oh...But where am I...?" Ughh nosy boy!
"You're on earth. Duhh." I say, trying to give a sarcastic response.
"Earth..? Ooh! We learnt about that in school! It's in the milky way! Right? Haha you really got me! We're still in Paris right?"
I had three words. What the hell?
"Uhmm Paris is on Earth. What happened to your Geography skills?"
"Uh no. It's in Animesteir."
"Anime- what?"
"Animesteir. Ya know? Our planet? Please don't tell me my dad left me to a phyco..never mind.."
Well the sarcasm sure didn't work.
I decided to play along so that he won't get creeped out by me.
"Haha! I got you good didn't I?" I said.
"Wait...So that was just a joke?"
"Well Duhh! Obviously!"
"Haha! You really got me good!"
"So, Adrien, I never got to ask your dad or you, how old are you?"
"Oh I'm 17. You?"
"16"
"Oh"
And there it was. The thing I feared. Awkward silence. I decided to break the silence when I got an idea about what to talk about.
"So Adrien, you hungry? I could make you something to eat if you want."
"No thank you. Just some water please?"
"Ah, okay."
As I walked to the kitchen, My mind filled up with thoughts. There was one month of summer vacation left. But what happens after that? How would I hide Adrien from everyone? How would I convince him that he can't be chat noir and ladybug isn't here. His best friend isn't here either. Ugh I had to think this through. One wrong decision and the whole plan comes crashing down.
"Here." I said, handing him a glass of water.
"Thanks."
And why him of all people? I hated miraculous but here I am, stuck with a character of miraculous itself. Yes, I did watch a few episodes of miraculous, I was forced to by Auro, so I had a little idea of what it was about.
Adrien had just finished the water when I heard a high pitched scream coming from the living room. It was my little brother, Josh.
"What happened to the tele?!" He yelled
"Adrien hide!" I whispered
"What? Why?" He whispered back.
"Just do as I say! And don't come out of hiding spot unless I tell you. Or else we're both dead. Literally." I whisper yell as I make my way towards the living room.
"Hey sis! Why's the tele broken?!"
"Oh..umm..I accidentally threw a ball at it.."
"So I'm not able to watch my favorite show because of you?! Ughh!!" He stomped his way upstairs. "I'm so telling mom!" I hear him yell from upstairs.
What is with people getting upset?! I'm the one who'll be getting scolded here! Just then, I notice the pieces of the dimension jumping machine, I quickly gather them up, I had to fix this machine if I needed to send Adrien home.
I run back to Adrien and quickly get him out of his hiding spot and into my room when I here the front door unlock, followed by a yell.
"(Y/N) What happened to the tele?!" She yells and I can practically feel the rage in her voice.
"Ooh ooh sis broke it!" My brother yells back to my mom. Ughh he really loves getting me into trouble.
"(Y/N) (L/N) is that true?! Do you know how much this cost us?! Get down here right now!!"
I looked towards Adrien, then at the door, then back at Adrien and whispered one word to him. "Hide" as I pushed him into my closet and shut the door but he pushed it open.
"Why do I need to hide? What's going on?!" He whisper yelled.
"(Y/N)!!! In how many centuries will you be down here?!" My mom yelled
"I'm coming mom!" I answered her. "Adrien I'll explain when I get back I promise." I whisper as I shut my closet's door again and make my way downstairs, bracing myself for one hell of a scolding.
Ugh. What a burden he is, why did I have to get stuck with Adrien.

At that time and moment, I really did think Adrien was nothing more than a headache and a burden, but little did I know, I would be balling my eyes out for this 'burden' not one, not two, but numerous times...
