To imagine life without programs was meaningless.
This was the words Adrien thought as he sat in Marinette's pocket. Strange right? Being a computer, well you wouldn't understand it would you, being designed to be the perfect love interest only to be sitting in some girl's jeans all day.
Adrien knew he couldn't actually feel things, it was simply a set of 1's and 0's to simulate a human's emotions and yet he was sure he was fooling himself as he heard Marinette's words.
"Here Rose, I made this for you..." her soft voice spoke like velvet.
It was a small pink and white sweater she had knitted for the small girl the other day. Marinette wanted to cheer her friend up so she thought a simple gift would do.
"Wow Marinette!!" Rose exclaimed eyes sparkling. "It's so pretty!!! Thank you!!!" She pounced a hug on Marinette, squeezing her tightly.
Adrien wondered what having a friend was like. Ever since he was created, Adrien only knew his creator, but there was also Marinette. The girl he was programmed to be "infatuated" with, though Adrien knew it was only in his code and nothing he felt was authentic...
Sometimes it was lonely, no other person or program to understand the way he was built. Sure Adrien was okay with this, but he would be lying if he said he didn't want something to be his friend...
"What's going on?" Asked a curious Juleka in a whisper of a voice.
Rose unclinged herself from Marinette and sped over to her bestfriend. "Marinette made me a sweater!!!! Look look!!" She said rather loudly.
This caught other people's attention around the art club. People began crowding around them and showering Marinette in compliments, much to her embarrassment.
A modest blush spread across her cheeks, painting her face a bright pink, this highlighted her freckles and made her look so cute, at least a certain guy thought so...

Marinette hated homework. With a passion, she despised it. Why should you spend eight hours at school in the day only to go home and spend more time following up on the confusing subjects. It made no sense, at least Marinette believed so.
Whoever created history tests should be assisnated by a time traveling spy from the year 2123 with a checkered past and a simple yet complex name like Vikki Jet.
Russia. This is what she spent the last hour trying to comprehend, not the country, the Romanov family tree.
"Ivan the Great!! Peter the Terrible!! I just don't get it!!" Marinette finally exclaimed yelling to herself as she kicked her chair back. She threw her hands into the air exasperated.
"What's wrong Mari?" Asked Adrien as the computer screen flckered on. Marinette flew backward out of her chair, flailing on the ground. Her hair flew out of it's bun and glasses fell crooked against her face. She searched her pocket desprately, looking for any sort of relief, before she pulled out a pokodot inhaler.
She took a large breath in before letting out all the air in her lungs. "What the heckle berries Adrien? Do you have to be so creepy all the time?" She asked.
Adrien tilted his head confused through the screen. "What's wrong Mari?" He repeated unfazed by her reaction. That's right. He wasn't real, sometimes Marinette forgot that...
Sighing, Marinette gave in. "I don't understand my homework..." She said absolutely exausted. "I've tried googling it. I've tried rereading the chapter. I just don't understanding this stupid thing!!" Adrien stared blankly at her for a moment, yep creepy. "Thanks you are soooooo helpful."
"I have read every article concerning the Romanov family. I am prepared enough to teach you and help you with your homework." Adrien smiled at Marinette. His smile, it seemed so real, like Marinette could actually see all the details, good and bad. Who ever made Adrien put some real thought into him. Wait, who did make him?
"Why would you do that for me?"
Adrien grinned ear from ear. The type of smile that would make anyone melt. "I would do anything for you Mari..." Suddenly Marinette felt like it was hard to breathe, like someone had slid ice down her back. "Oh and Mari?" Adrien asked again. Marinette nodded, eager to hear what else Adrien had to say. "I think you look good with your hair down, you're really pretty..."
Oh gosh, Marinette was in trouble if Adrien kept talking like that...
