Babe's POV
"Well, damn" I voiced out my thoughts.

"Sorry for the confusion" I scratched my head, looking anywhere but Hudson.

"Oh, it's OK, I'm about to leave now, bye Hudson and think about my offer. Alright?" Emily replied looking directly at Hudson.

"Yeah, yeah I'll think about, now go" he shooed her away smiling.

"Alright, alright, I'm going" she laughed leaving Hudson and I alone in the hospital room.

"Why didn't you tell us?" I questioned him breaking the awkward silence.

"Tell you what?" He asked acting clueless.

"You know what I'm talking about" I said glaring at him. He just sighed.

"I just didn't want people to pity me" he sighed again.

"But still, you should have told us" I gave him a look of sadness.

"Don't you have a boyfriend to get to" he snapped immediately clearly irritated.

"I kn-" I was cut off by my phone ringing, I saw the caller ID was Henry and decided to answer it.

"Hey, Babe" He said after I picked up.

"Hey, I was just about to call you" I replied.

"Oh, I wanted to tell you something" he said sounding nervous

What? " I questioned.

"We need to break up" he replied.

"Oh, good I was just about to tell you that to" I said sighing because it actually came to my mind.

"So friends?" He asked me sounding like he's smiling.

"Friends" I replied and cut off the call.

"Actually, I don't have a boyfriend Hudson" I spoke looking directly at him.

"Oh," he said smiling.

"We are still not off that subject Hudson" I spoke up again.

"Look, Babe, I already told you the reason, now could you leave me alone I need to rest" he said getting irritated.

"Oh, sorry" I replied frowning.

"And what was that about you liking me" he smirked.

"Uh...." I hesitated before he said the four words I've been waiting for.

"I like you too" he smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Well then, since when did this happen" I gestured to our surroundings -the hospital-

"Since when my dad left us" he muttered but I still heard him.

"Oh, I'm sor-" I started but he cut me off.

"This is exactly why I didn't want people knowing, it's always 'I'm sorry' and 'it'll be okay' but I hate that it's not as if he's dead" he snapped tears in his eyes.

"No, he isn't, and I won't pity you, I'll still look at you the same way don't worry" I said walking over to him and hugging him.

"Promise?" He questioned pulling away.

"Promise" I answered smiling.

Then we just stared in each others eyes then

"Are you guys gonna kiss or what?" Emily's voice came out of nowhere.

We both whipped our heads and saw Emily smiling, me with a red face and Hudson smirking.

And then Hudson did it, he kissed me...right on the lips.

"Awwwn"

We pulled away and saw Emily still there clapping.

"Way to ruin the moment Emily" Hudson sarcastically said.

"Happy to help" she replied laughing.

I just stood there smiling, I finally did it, I kissed the one boy I've liked.

"Will you be my girlfriend" Hudson asked smiling.

"Yes" I said squealing and hugging him.

"Awwwwn" I heard.

"You really are still here, go home Emily" Hudson said now annoyed but still smiling.

"Alright, bye" she said leaving the room laughing.

I'm finally dating the one boy I love only a matter of time before we're married.
