I can't escape this hell... (Demon Arc)

"...ok good night Eda!" I yell as I plop on my bed. It's been a tiring day, I had to stay after school today because I got into shenanigans again. It's not my fault though!

"Hey, Luz. How you doing?" She asked. I opened my eyes and groaned. Im in the Dark room again.

"Why are you here?" I huffed. She giggled sadistically, which was to be expected. She started to talk.

"You know you can't keep me here anymore, day by day your magic is getting weaker and so is the barrier. I can get out anytime I want." She grinned.

"Why don't you?" I ask. I'm surprised she hasn't escaped yet and I want to know why.

"I'm waiting for the perfect moment..." She said. "I want Amity..." That took me by surprise, what does she want with Amity.

"What do you mean by that!" I shot out. If she's going to try to do something then I'm going to make sure she doesn't.

"I want her broken. I'm going to wait for the moment you two are as close as can be then I'll take control and destroy her." She laughed.

"Why? What did Amity do to you!?" I yelled. She just looked at me and laughed.

"You're happy, because of her you're happy. I can't have that y'know." She told me. What does my happiness have anything to do with her?

"Why do you care whether I'm happy or not." I demand an answer. She looks at me and begins to speak.

"Looks like our time is up. Now you go to Amity's today right? Make sure you two don't get too close, or else." She disappears and my alarm goes off.

"NO TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT WITH AMITY!"

"...us! Luz!" I wake up to King shaking me. "Luz you're crying...." I touch my face and feel the river of tears falling from my eyes.

"It's nothing King, just had a bad dream." I give him a big smile and he leaves.

"See the King of Demons can make ANYONE feel better! Ha ha!" Oh King, so innocent yet so all over the place.

I walk down the stairs to see Eda trying to make the vegetables cook themselves, again I mean come on it's never gonna work, and...

Amity

Amity comes up to me jumping up and down like an adorable puppy. "Oh Luz, you're finally awake." The love of my life- I means Amity smiles. I grin and say hi. "Are you ready for the sleepover? It's going to be so fun."

"You're going to Amity's place today right? Well make sure you don't get too close, or else..."

"Actually, Amity, I think I'm going to have to rain check on that one. I'm just not feeling too well." I sigh hoping she will let me off. She looks at me and her smile got, wider?

"Don't worry I have everything planned out. If you're not feeling well I have stuff at my place that can help with that." She says. So much for that.

"No, Amity, I really can't." I tell her.

"But why, Luz?" She frowns. I'm sorry Amity.

"I just can't okay?"

"At least tell me why."

"I'm on my period ok!" I yell without thinking. Wow way to go brain that was so cliche.

"Oh. Well sorry then. I'll see you around I guess." Oh no I hurt her feelings.

"Amity wait. I can go I'll just bring some stuff. I'm sorry raising my voice like that. I'm going to go pack right now and we can get to an early start alright?" Her frown quickly changes to a wide smile.

"Yay! I can't wait, gonna have a sleep over with Luz." She sings a little. "I'll be waiting outside."

Ah she's too cute. I sigh in defeat, looks like I have to go. Curse my gayness.

"See, there's no getting out of this Luz. You can't escape me." Why are you in my head during the day? "I just feel like it hun. The only thing I want is to see your little slumber party go to hell and that's it."

Why can't you leave me alone! I never asked for you to be here. You only showed up when I came to the Boiling Isles why not on Earth? "Because, here you were able to do magic and because of that I was born." What made you like this. Who hurt you. "Amity did. Remember when she used to bully us!? I want to get to the bottom of why she's acting so nice...she must be using you Luz. You're falling for her and she's using that just to break your heart. I want to protect you Luz. I can't let someone like her hurt you." Didn't you get mad because she was making me happy? "Mood change deal with it. Remember we are supposed to be on our 'period'. Who knows maybe tomorrow I'll start hating you again." Ok then.

I know she's going to make sure I have a miserable time. Amity and I are going to be alone, her parents are out like always and the twins are gone on a camp trip for school. Only the lord knows what's going to happen...and it won't be pretty.

"Ok Amity I'm ready!" I smile as I exit the Owl House. She grins and leads me to her house.

"It's so big Amity!" I awe. She blushes and smiles.

"When your parents are affiliated with the Emperors Coven what else do you expect." She says. "Now come on we can go to my room." We enter the mansion and race up the stairs to her room.

"Geez Amity how rich are you're parents." I ask. She shrugs and plops on the bed. She pats the side and I lay next to her. "You know Amity, I've been thinking and-"

"What is it?" She asks...

"I warned you, Luz..."

NO! NO PLEASE! PLEASE DON'T DO THIS! YOU'LL RUIN EVERYTHING!

"Too late. Why don't you have a look?"

Suddenly I can see everything happening on the outside.

"Luz...why would you say that!" Amity screams.

NO! AMITY DON'T LISTEN TO HER! THAT'S NOT ME!

"Because Amity. It's true. I hate you."

STOP! PLEASE! Just stop. I start to cry knowing I can't do anything. No magic can stop this.

"WHY DON'T YOU JUST LEAVE THEN! This was a mistake, just go."

And suddenly I'm in control again.

"Amity I-"

"I TOLD YOU TO GO! I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU ANYMORE!" She screams at me. I run out of the room and leave the mansion. I can't do anything about this...

I rush into the Owl House, tears still streaming down my face, and run to my room slamming the door shut. "Luz? Kid what happened why did you come back?" I can hear Eda knocking. If someone knows how to help then its definitely her.

"Eda I need to tell you something." I sniff. "I'm part demon."
