Get Ready Baby

Tia's POV
Trevor and I have been together for 2 years now. We have managed to keep most of our relationship private. There has been some paparazzi lurking around and of course there are a few articles and photos surfacing here and there. The boutique has gotten more business too. I really love Trevor and everything has been going great. I don't think I can even ask for more. He has been so good to me. We have plans tonight. I think he said we are going out to dinner. I can't wait to see him I haven't seen him all week. He's been busy with ball and I've been busy with the boutique. I still have my own condo. I told him I think it's best we don't live together right now. I'd live with him if he proposed or we were married.

I finish up at the boutique and head home. I get home and it's 4 p.m. I left the boutique a little earlier so I can take a nap before I get ready to go out with Trevor. I wake up to a few missed calls and texts from Trevor. I call him back and he asks what I'm doing. I tell him I just woke up from a nap. He laughs and says of course. Then he asks me if I'm getting ready. I tell him I'm about to. He says okay. He tells me he's picking me up at 7. I say okay. I hang up and get up to shower and get ready. I pick out a little black dress. I'm not sure where we are going but I know it'll be some place nice. I am all ready by 6:45 p.m. At 6:50 Trevor rings my bell. He has flowers for me. I love when he brings me flowers. It makes me feel special. I hope that never stops. We head out and end up back at his place. I ask him if he forgot something. He said no I planned a special dinner for you here. I just say oh okay. We get out and his house is set up very nicely and I notice this chef in the kitchen. I look at him and say oh you hired a personal chef. He laughs and says yes I did.

I speak to the chef and he introduces himself and tells me what is on the menu. I smile and say can't wait. Trevor grabs my hand and we head out back. Oh it's so nice. He really out did himself. I say it looks beautiful out here. He says I set this all up for you. I smile and say you are the best. He kisses me. I kiss him back. He pours me some wine. He knows I love my wine. I say mhmm this is good. This is that wine we tasted when we took that trip to Italy that I really liked. He looks at me and says I know. I smile. He's so thoughtful. We just sit by the pool talking. The chef brings us some appetizers. I must say they are exquisite. Trevor says these are good. I say yeah they are. I'm excited for the food. Once the food is ready the chef lets us know. We sit at the table Trevor had set up outside for us. We eat and I must say this food is amazing. This is really beautiful and I am just so in love with this man. After dinner the chef collects our plates and let's us know dessert will be out soon. Trevor says he will be right back. I say okay. He comes back and sits down. The chef brings our dessert and sets it in the middle. Just as I look at it Trevor is down on one knee. The chocolate sauce on the plate says marry me? Omg he is really proposing.

Trevor's POV
Dinner was amazing and now it's time for dessert. The chef already knows my plans so he has the dessert set up. I went to get the ring and I came back. I am a little nervous. I know she's going to say yes but I just have some butterflies. I've never proposed before and I never even thought about marrying another woman other than Tia. When the chef brought the dessert out I got on one knee. I know she's surprised by the expression on her face. I'm on one knee smiling but I'm all nervous and bubbly inside. I say to her, Tia I love you very much. I always have and I always will. You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. You make me a better man. You've always had my back. Even when we weren't together and you were playing with me but, I know you always had me like no other. I'm ready to build with you and start a family. So Tia Simmons will you marry me?

Tia's POV
I have tears in my eyes. I can't believe he's proposing. After he asks me to marry him I say yes. He puts the ring on my finger and I kiss and hug him. Omg I can't believe this. I love him so much and I can't wait until we start our family. Now I have a wedding to plan. I'm so excited. After we have our dessert and the chef cleans up I can't keep my hands off of Trevor. I take him upstairs and take my dress off. I can tell this is turning him on. I push him back on the bed and get on top. We make love all night long.

A few weeks have gone by and we agreed to get married next year, the day he asked me to be his girlfriend. I get ahold of a planner so we can start getting things together. Soon we will sit down and write out a list of our guests so we know how many people we are sending invitations to. Trevor said he honestly wants to keep it to family and close friends. He doesn't want a bunch of people he just knows there. I agree. I want our wedding day to be special. I want it to be memorable and to be spent with our loved ones.

My girls and I go wedding dress shopping. After trying on 5 dresses I finally choose one. I am so in love with this dress. It is the perfect dress. I can't wait for Trevor to see it. Him and his guys have their tux and suit fittings next week. Everything is coming together. We decided on blue as our color. Trevor is wearing a blue velvet suit jacket. Oh, I can't wait to see my baby standing there. I love a man in a suit. It just does something to me. We go cake tasting tomorrow. We are both chocolate lovers but we also want to make sure our guest have something they like as well. Our planner is the best too. She has seriously made this whole wedding planning stuff easier.

After months of preparing for our big day which is this Saturday, I am so nervous. The closer it gets the more nervous I am getting. Don't worry I am not getting cold feet. I can't wait to marry Trevor. He is truly the love of my life and I'm excited to be his wife. I can't wait until our honey moon. Hopefully we conceive a mini Trevor. I may be nervous but all I know is that I can't wait to be able to call that fine man my husband.
