"So for how long have you been dancing?" The older asked, sipping from his drink.
"Since middle school actually. Me and Joshua started together." he said as he played with the pink straw in his drink, fidgeting it between his fingers.
They were sitting in Soonyoung's living room, drinking together. They exchanged their basic informations. What they do for a living, what are their passions and interests etcetera.
Jeonghan find out that Seungcheol actually moved to Seoul a couple of months before, and now lived with Mingyu and Wonwoo. He said he likes spending time with them, but hates to depend on Mingyu. Jeonghan can't relate, he had always been living alone since he was a legal adult."What about you?" the brunette asked resting his chin on the palm of his hand.
Seungcheol took another sip.
Damn he already drank a lot, how is he still sober.
Jeonghan thought, slightly impressed.
He, on the other hand, was already feeling the alcohol going to his head."Pretty much the same. Me and Mingyu always liked to dance but we started taking classes together when I started high school."
"How do you know each other?"
"We're actually cousins."
"Oh... I see."
There was a moment of silence between the two.
"You're pretty good at dancing by the way." the older said without even looking directly at Jeonghan. Maybe he didn't want to admit he himself thought the younger man was better than him, or maybe he was just embarrassed in complimenting him so directly.
"Oh thank you..." he replied, a little smirk grew on his lips. "I saw you staring yesterday"
Seungcheol's cheeks turned slightly red, he wided his eyes, hearing Jeonghan's words. "I just... passed by and curiosity won over me. By the way, you were the one staring at me when you saw me dance for the first time." he remarked, pointing at him.
The brunette took another sip from the pink straw. "I wasn't staring at you, I was just watching the performance." he looked away. "Anyway" he lightly bit his lower lip, a gesture that Seungcheol actually found really fucking attractive.
"You're good too. I guess."
Yes. This was definitely the alcohol talking.
Jeonghan would've never admitted that out loud, if it wasn't for the alcohol.
"Thank you, Hannie." Seungcheol rejoiced. Hearing such a compliment from the younger made him strangely satisfied and proud of himself.
"Woh woh woh, slow down sir. You don't have permission to use these nicknames with me." Jeonghan said lightly hitting him on the shoulder.
"Yet-" Seungcheol added giggling at the other.
He huffed "...what do you mean?"
"Aren't we friends now, Hannie?"
"Acquaintances." Jeonghan corrected him, before placing his empty glass on the table beside them "Look! The others are dancing, let's join them! " he said grabbing Seungcheol's arm with unusual confidence and dragging him to the dance floor. All he could do was following even tho he had the sensation that his new friend was up to no good.
"Oh hey guys" Joshua exclaimed in surprise as he saw the two walk toward the others that were now choosing a song to dance to.
"Have you guys made up?" Seokmin asked, surprised as well.
