Half a period had already passed but the words still replayed in Jungkooks mind . How could someone as nice as Yoongi date someone like him ? The boy who stole his locker and threatened him . He had Taeh the next few classes so he would have a way to get his mind off of things but it still kind of irked him . From what he knew , Namjoon was a jerk who picked on lower classmen simply for being that .

His thoughts were interrupted by Taehyung sliding into the chair in front of him and another boy sitting beside him .

" Kookie ! This is my friend Jimin . We went to school together last year "

Turning towards the other boy , Jungkook smiled , reaching out to shake his hand .

He took it , shaking it softly with a gentle smile on his face

" It's nice to meet you Jungkook -- Tete has told me a lot about you "

They chatted for a few minutes , finding out their similarities and common interests . Jimin had known Taeh since childhood and they grew up together . They live on the same street and even their parents were friends .

" If you're free this weekend , me and Jiminie plan on going to the skating rink , you can come "

Koos smile widened . He'd never really been invited anywhere ( other than as a joke ) and he was glad to be going out with someone he could trust .

" Reall- I mean sure I'd love too ! " he was practically vibrating with anticipation

" Great ! Jimin's boyfriend , Hoseok , can pick us up , he just got his license "

They discussed their plans a bit more before the bell rang , dismissing them to their next class . While Jimin had to part ways , him and Taeh chatted in the hall as they walked to their next class .

Class passed quickly and Jungkooks lunch period was next . Since he had an advanced math class he would Be eating with the upper classmen -- so without Tae . He was anxious , seeing how Namjoon would be in this same period . . . but he had Yoongi so he'd have someone to talk to .

Walking into the lunch room , he bought his lunch quickly and looked around for his friend. He heard his name being shouted and turned to see Yoongi sitting at a round table waving him over . He seemed to be surrounded by friends . . . including Namjoon . Walking over he saw the visible look of confusion on Joons face as the turned to Yoongi with a " what the hell " expression . Yoongi just shook his head and moved his bag so Koo could sit next to him .

" Guys this is my friend Jungkook - Joonie he's in the same math class as us "

He could feel the berating glare from Namjoon as he smiled at everyone else at the table .

" It's nice to meet you , Jungkook . I'm Hoseok --- but everyone calls me Hobi "

" Oh! You must be Jimins boyfriend , right ? I had him a few classes ago "

" Yeah ! And that's Namjo-"

" We've already met actually "

his voice broke through like shattering glass . Koos chest dropped , his gaze slowly shifting to Namjoon

" I'm going to sit with Seokjin " he stood up before anyone could interject , slamming his chair in and striding across the room . His eyes followed him and sure enough he saw him sit down and whisper into someones ear . The person turned around and he was met with the same piercing eyes that greeted him this morning
