The dark cloud I was sitting on was gone as well,
Everywhere was bright and beautiful!
We layed down on the clouds and gazed at the sky.
"It's beautiful!" I exclaimed.
"Yeah!" Ruby supported.
"Hey, why don't we go live your dreams!" It was then it struck me, I don't know Ruby's greatest wish! "Ruby? What dream would you want to have?" I asked.
"Honestly, Karen, I don't know anymore." She sighed deeply and sadly. "Probably be with my parents again they'll give me all the love they have and have true friends and a normal teenage life without my aunt perhaps?"
"Oh Ruby, you've got me as a friend and you still have your brother who am sure looks up to you now as his mother!"
"I guess so."
"We were wrong to let life get the better of us, we're kids and need to enjoy instead of sulking! We will miss our loved ones who died but we must be strong to continue our lives and tell ourselves 'Goodmorning!' Dream agency has taught me that and we should behave accordingly." I speeched confidently like some motivational speaker and it made Ruby smile a little though am sure she knows I meant every word.
"You really had a great time didn't you?" She asked feeling sad again.
"You know what I think, we all wouldn't have won the contest because we are smart girls. The contest rejected you all because you were all smart." I winked at her.
"Thanks Karen, for staying with me and being a good friend!" She hugged me dearly.
"You're better," I hugged her back.
"There are lots of things I would not hesitate to change, probably help you and Stephanie become closer. She's not really that bad." She confessed as she pulled away from over embrace.
"I know, I should have been a better sister!" I confessed as well.
"I'd probably tell Seth to get a girl his age."
"Yeah!"
"I'd also show Kira she's missing out in our friendship."
"I'll also tell mom what really happened that day." I announced suddenly.
"What happened?" She furrowed her brows confused and curious. First, I'll tell mom everything before anyone else.
"I'll tell you after I've told mom." It's then I realized that I already really miss home. "I want to wake up, Ruby."
"Me too Karen. My brother! I've been so selfish!" She cried and I felt so sad for her.
"It's o..." I was about to console her but then I heard a ringing sound that faded away too quickly.
"What happened?"
"My alarm!" I realized it was my stupid waking up device that I use but never really use but not until this day! My alarm is waking me up! That's it's job! "I can hear it!"
"What!" Ruby was shocked.
"Listen Ruby! Can't you hear it?" I instructed her and she remained silent for some time. Probably listening.
