I was standing in my room wondering how I dodge my sister's kick, I decided to worry about it later and get ready for School. I got my school uniform out of my wardrobe and place on my bed. As I was taking my shirt off, I notice something different about my body. I went to the mirror to look at myself and apparently, I have a six pack. I was confused because I don't even remember exercising, but it did feel cool though to have them. I put my school uniform on, and I head downstairs. As I get downstairs, I see Kotori watching TV and I decide not to interrupt her, so I decided to make breakfast for me and Kotori. As I was making breakfast, I heard the news reporter say something about spatial quake.
News Reporter-"A small spatial quake was recorded earlier this morning near Tengu city. There was only slight damage, with no casualties among residents in the area. Investigations continue as to the cause of the spatial quake." After I heard the news reporter say that it cut to commercial break. I just sigh to myself.
(Y/N)-"Again? Sounds like it's nearby as well." I said as I continued to make breakfast, then I hear Kotori say something.
Kotori-"Yeah." That's the only response I hear from Kotori.
(Y/N)-'Spatial quakes, widespread vibration phenomena of unknown causes. Just as the name implies, the space itself vibrates. An irrational disaster that thoroughly destroys everything around it. After the massive destruction thirty years ago, spatial quakes occurred around the world for six months. Nothing happened for twenty-five years after that until suddenly, five years ago...' I then start getting flashbacks from back then, I then shake the thoughts out of my head and got back to cooking. I was done making breakfast and I went to sit down and eat. As I was about to eat, I ask Kotori something. "Don't you think they have been a lot lately?" I ask Kotori.
Kotori-"Yeah..." She said back to me. I look back at her and I see her still watching the tv but... I notice something her mouth. It's a lollipop. I rush over in front of her, and I scared her a little bit.
(Y/N)-"Kotori, don't eat sweets before a meal! "I went to grab the lollipop from out of her mouth, but she closed it. I kept trying to pull it from out of her mouth, but it wouldn't come out. "GIVE IT KOTORI!!!" I said to her, but she didn't listen. I gave up and I looked her straight in the eye. "Just make sure you have something healthy." She then grabbed the lollipop from out her mouth cause her to say something.
Kotori-"Okay! I love you, big brother." She said as she was pulling that cute smile of hers. Me and Kotori went to sit down at the table, and I went ask her something.
(Y/N)-"Hey Kotori." This gets her attention. "What are you feeling for lunch?" She then stands up with a smile.
Kotori-"Deluxe kids' plate!" She then starts jumping around, I just stare at her.
(Y/N)-"That's something from a diner menu. We don't have that at this restaurant." She then stops jumping and looks at me and frowns.
Kotori-"Come on, please? Please? Pretty please on a cherry on top? Please?" She kept asking me to take her to that diner, which I just find hilarious. I smiled at her and took a bite out of my food.
Timeskip: 10 minutes later
Kotori-"Hehe, kids deluxe plate at the diner!" She said as she was skipping next to me happy; I don't know why but... at least she's happy though.
(Y/N)-"Don't get so excited about a diner." She then looks at me with a smile.
Kotori-"I can if I want to. Thanks, big brother!" She continues to smile at me, I just sigh and smile back. We finally got to the diner and stop in front of the entrance. "I wait for you here after school, big brother." I just nod at my head at her then all of a sudden, she got on her tippy toes. "Make sure you don't break your promise! We'll eat here even if the restaurant is taken over by terrorists." I sweat dropped after she that.
