"Hermione!" Fleur called from downstairs, "can you help me out a bit here?". Hermione left me standing alone in the room and went down to help Fleur. I walked down the hall aimlessly, hearing a loud banging noise coming from one of the other rooms.
"Ron! Get the hell out!" Harry yelled, banging on the bathroom door.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"He has been showering in there for a decade and I really need to use the bathroom!" said Harry, frustrated.
"Just use mine" I shrugged.
Harry thanked me and ran down the hall and into my room.
After procrastinating for as long as I could, I finally made my way downstairs. George and Emma were laughing at something together while Bill and Hermione helped Fleur in the kitchen. I noticed Luna and Fred having an animated conversation on the sofa.
I decided not to interrupt them and pulled out a piece of parchment from a drawer. Using a quill, I began to write a letter. Once I was done writing, I folded it and put it in an envelope.
While I was sealing the envelope shut, Harry walked down from the stairs, looking as if he had just seen Voldemort in a tutu. I mentally laughed at the image and Harry looked straight at me.
He came and sat in front of me, placing his arms on the table.
"Hi Alice" he said.
"Didn't we just talk a few minutes ago?" I said, confused.
"I know"
"So why are you saying hi to me like you haven't seen me all day?"
"No, no Alice, I know"
"What do you mean?" I said casually.
"If you didn't want anyone to see the sticks, why did you leave them lying like there in broad daylight?" Harry asked.
"You saw the results?" I gulped.
"No I didn't, I'd like to hear it from you. But I did throw some toilet paper in there to cover it up" said Harry.
"You're a lifesaver" I sighed.
"So? Are you?"
I looked at the bespectacled boy, waiting for my answer. I nodded reluctantly.
"Alice! That's amazing!" he whisper-yelled.
"But you can't tell anyone, you and Hermione are the only ones who know" I whispered back. He had a massive smile on his face and looked very excited. I frowned and he noticed that I didn't share his joy.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"I-I don't know if I'm ready for a kid, what will Fred say?" I said, I was dreading telling him.
"Well it was his sperm after all, it's not like he wasn't responsible" he chuckled and I hit him on the arm.
"I'm serious! I-I have a living thing inside of me!"
"For starters, you may not want to call it thing" said Harry.
"Very helpful of you" I sneered.
"Sorry, sorry, what can I do to help?" he said, the excitement not leaving his face. I liked seeing Harry happy, I just didn't think that this would be the reason behind it.
"Just, keep quiet about it, not even Ron should know"
"Should know what?" Ron said, seating himself next to Harry. Hermione joined us too.
