Memories and moments,
Ever lasting and depressing,
And yet so painfully satisfying at times.
That's the only eternal in this all.
Everything is broken,
It's all an illusion but memories stay,
Stay to haunt maybe?~~~~~~~~~
You smell like the
The vellichor of books,
The purity of incense sticks.
The petrichor of the rain sodden earth,
And like love and
All things that's forever.~~~~~~~~~~~
Your voice sounds like
Rough sand down my throat,
As if I'm choking on something,
Hot and sweet and yet,
It takes my breath away.~~~~~~~~~~~
I am drowning in my own darkness.
Because I want to be sure you'll be there,
Not to dispatch my darkness,
Not to be the soothing light,
But just to be the support that doesn't,
Allow me to crack!~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A/N
And as I counted days to the impending farewell,
I wrote snippets of my feelings,
And of all things that means a lot,
The moments of all our dealings. And you went away one fine day,
Gave me chocolates and a promise,
We laughed about our weddings,
And about little trifles and a wishAnd we talked about love,
And all things we were yet to learn from fate,
But it felt good being open for once,
Looking into your eyes straightAnd there was nothing else between us,
No trace of that careful game,
No leftovers from the regrets snd doubts,
Now we were equals we were same.
