You have probably already heard of the game Minecraft, if you haven't I just give a quick recap. You survives in a world made by blocks, gather recourses, and kill the Ender Dragon. That's it. After you have defeated the Ender Dragon the credits roll. Minecraft isn't a particular scary game, though it has some unnerving sounds and sights, but I can say I had a different experience. It all started like a normal play through, chop down some wood and build a house.

When the first night fell, I started a mine and got some iron. There was nothing unusual until the next night. When I did go down in my cave to mine, I saw a sign with the words "Don't Go To The End" written on it. I didn't care so much about it though, but it still gave me goosebumps. I didn't know what it referred to, but I know now. I get to it later. Anyway, I kept mining the whole night and actually found some iron. If you have played the game, you know it is pretty good for night two.

Nothing else happened that night, so I just thought I had placed it down there to creep myself out. I have a very bad short-term memory, so things like that happens all the time. I continued to play, and the only thing that happened was that my house burned down. It was easily fixed, and after that it was calm until night 14.

I have had a pretty good play through so far, I had full diamond armor and sword, and even an Ender Pearl. That night, I decided to break my routine with mining all night and to stuff when it was day. I wish I didn't to that. Things starter to happen minutes after I walked outside. Holes appeared from nowhere, trees started to burn, mountains that never seemed to end and massive oceans. After trying to navigate through this environment, I found one of the strangest things I have ever seen, if not the strangest.

If you have played the game, you are probably familiar with the strongholds. This are the places were the End Portal is spawned. These places are often complex labyrinths, but the one I found was... weird. It was just a big circular hole in the ground, which led to an finished End Portal. The chances of this happening is 1 in 1.000.000.000.000. So, I didn't think so much about, I was rather happy that I had got so lucky with an finished End Portal. I knew I had equipment to fight the Ender Dragon. I had a feeling of unease, because of the sign earlier. I pushed I This feeling away and decided to jump into the portal.

When I arrived to The End, I just knew that something was... off. There were no Ender Men or Ender Dragon. If you have a problem with slight gore, now it's your time to stop reading. Are you still there? Well, here we go.

I started to build a bridge over to the island, I wish I didn't do that. When I arrived I was met by nothing. No health bar, no Ender Men and no Ender Dragon. Or, there was an Ender Dragon. It was its rotting corpse, teared up by something. And it was no longer in a blocky texture. It was a hyper realistic 3D model. It just laid there on the ground, dead. Besides it was a sign. I walked up to the sign. It only stood the four words "I told you so" on it, nothing else. The portal was activated, so I jumped into it so the credits would start to roll. I was relieved when I saw the blocky dirt background, with the familiar Minecraft logo over it. I sighed of relief when I saw the credits passing by. Out of nowhere, the game just crashed. I opened up the game again, and this time I only say one sentence:
"Don't go to The End"
