Alana and Margot had been in the stables Alana mostly watching as Margot took care of her horses. There were soft cracks in the snow, so faint that neither of them heard someone approaching them.
The dark shadow of the stranger became more clear as it stepped closer, "Hello, Alana. ."

Will stepped in the doorway of the stable while both Alana and Margot stared at him, both confused on why Will was at their house after 3 years of being parted.

"Hello. . , Will?" Alana spoke softly in confusion; she could only think of the worst possible things that could have happened.

Will stared at Alana while silently saying "I need you, come here."

Alana understood and so she got up and started towards Will. Margot cut in half way of Alana walking towards Will, "Where are you going?"

Alana turned to Margot "To talk. I will be back, I promise. I love you." Alana spoke lovingly to her wife.
Margot paused for a second before speaking, "I love you too" she said softly under her breath turning back to her horses.

"How do you feel?" Will asked Alana without much context.

"Feel about what?" Alana spoke in confusion, she hadn't seen Will since Hannibal's capture.

"Mason. . .Hannibal" Will said plainly.

"Well, there is something inherently surprising about Margot, I find myself hating it." Alana said.

"Mh." Will didn't say anything so she could continue.

"The death of Mason doesn't feel. .sacrificial at all; it feels an awful lot like absolution. Both of us kneeling on the floor, his dead body sprawled between me and Margot. Margot drenched in water, looks like the absolution I was looking for." Alana said spaced out, revisiting the memories of when she and Margot killed Margot's brother.

"Hannibal. .?" Will said, Alana hadn't spoken about Hannibal yet. As if she was avoiding his name.

"Hannibal Lecter is an intelligent psychopath, he is unpredictable and insane. He promised to kill me when and if he escapes, he never fails on his promises, Will. How do you think I feel about Hannibal?" Alana said calmly but annoyed

"I think. .you're frightened, and uh. .nervous. Uhm, rightfully so though. Jack is gonna uh. . He's gonna call you later?" Will said, afraid to tell, Alana, that Hannibal escaped.

Will walked off into his car and drove off quickly.

Alana's conversation with Will left her dwelling in the past, the present, a state of being she thought she had long put away to the little box Hannibal Lecter resides in. There is no doubt in Dr. Bloom's mind that something regarding Hannibal has happened. Alana stood there in the snow watching Will drive off only snapping out of the trance she was in when Margot's hand settled into Alana's hand.

Margot held Alana's hand as she walked Alana inside of the mansion. "You look worried Darling, what's wrong?"
Margot set Alana down on the floor and she sat down in front of her
Alana winced as a sharp pain shot throughout her back. She still wasn't able to sit normally since the incident happened.

"Take it easy." Margot said. She knew Alana had been in a lot of pain since she was pushed out of a window.

"I am fine, just. .worried." Alana said slowly while so many thoughts raced through Alana's head.

Margot stared at Alana for a moment with furrowed brows, her eyes narrowed. She leaned in and gave Alana a kiss on her forehead.
"I'm gonna make you Lunch, alright?" Margot said as she pulled herself up from the ground.

Alana just nodded while staring at the floor.
She picked up a magazine that was sitting next to her. She flipped open to the first page and threw the magazine as far away from her as she could. A hot tear streamed down Alana's cold cheek; she wiped it away and started uncontrollably sobbing.

Margot walked in and saw that Alana threw the magazine across the room and looked at Alana to see her crying and set the food down on the table and ran towards Alana "What's wrong? Why did you throw that?" Margot asked, worried about her wife.

"Hannibal! They let Hannibal write an article! Out of anyone. .him, HIM!"

Margot nodded understanding what was going on. She put her hand on Alana's shoulder. "He can't get you here, you know that?"
She saw Alana's real problem, she saw the outwards anger was masking the fear her wife felt. Seeing Hannibal's name in that magazine had been a harsh reminder that the man, who had put her, by representative, through a window  and had sworn to kill Alana if he ever saw her, was still alive.

Alana fell into Margot's lap and sunk into her in a deep hug and sobbed into her green blouse while repeating the words "I'm scared Margot I'm scared"

Margot rested her head on Alana's shoulder and held her close. She knew how it felt to wear a brave face in front of the outside world. She also knew she didn't want Alana to have to do that for her. She didn't want Alana to hide her feelings from her, so right now, she didn't care if her blouse was getting mascara all over it. She cared about Alana and Alana only.
"He can't get you here, I promise. I won't let him."
She repeated and hugged her wife tighter, not too tight though. She didn't wanna hurt Alana's back. She knew it hurt a lot. "I love you, Alana" she said softly while they both dozed off in each other's arms.
