Hello my lovely readers. I hope you all are doing great. Take care, and please be safe. :)
----------------------------------------------------------------
(Everyone is looking at the bulletin board in utter shock. No one has the audacity to say a word. They all look at one another, completely speechless.)
Nandini: What? No! Yeh nahin ho sakta.
Manik: Ek minute, ek minute. Koi kuch react math karo. Abhi toh sirf bulletin board pe aaya hain. Koi official announcement, ya assembly toh hui nahin hain jo iss baat ko confirm karey.
Abir: Manik is right. Ho sakta hain koi humare saath mazak kar raha ho. Kya pata yeh sach hain bhi ya nahin. Before reacting we should wait and see if there is an official announcement or assembly.
Aditya: Ha, yeh toh hona hi tha. Mera kya, chal Jeevika. (Aditya takes Jeevika and leaves.)
(Just then the P.A. comes on.)
P.A.: Dear students, aapne notice board toh par hi liya ho ga. Ab aap sab assembly hall mein aa jaayie. Principal sir ko aap sab se kuch baat karni hain. Abhi.
(Everyone files their way into the assembly hall. Definitely not looking forward to what the principal has to say.)
(As all the students patiently wait, Principal Saxena makes his way onto the stage.)
Principal Saxena: Thank you students for coming. I hope aap sab ne notice board par liya hain. For those who have not read the board yet, aapke exams agle hafte se shuru ho rahe hain. Iss baar no excuses will work, whether it be sports, academics, anything. I know you all will do well, and all the very best. Ab aap sab jaa sakte ho, and get to studying. All the very best to all of you!
(Everyone releases a sigh, and heads out.)
Mishti: What yaar? Itni jaldi exams? Itni jaldi itni saari parhai kaise ho gi?
Nandini: Haan na yaar, yeh sun ke toh meri bhook bhi marr gayi.
Abir: Hmm, problem toh hain. Lekin ab it's official, toh kuch na kuch toh karna hi parega.
(They all discuss amongst themselves, as they head out of the assembly hall.)
(Change of Scene)
Shravan, who is fed up with studying, goes to the basketball court to fresh up his mind.
Shravan: (dribbling the ball and talking to himself) yaar iss padhai ne toh dimag kharab kar ke rakha hain.
(Shrvan throws the ball to make a basket, but misses.)
Ugh!, dhyaan kahan hain tera Shravan! FOCUS!! (Shravan continues to dribble until the principal comes to the court.)
(Principal Saxena calls out Shravan.)
Principal Saxena: Shravan, I know you are a very bright player, but studies are also very important. Toh agar iss baar tumhare saare subjects mein passing marks nahin aaye toh you will be out of the team.
(Shrvan gets shocked hearing the new criteria.)
Shravan: Lekin sir.
Principal Saxena: No lekin Shravan, it's final. And this is not just for you, but for every player on the team currently. Ab tum dekh lo. All the best.
(Principal Saxena leaves the court, leaving Shravan worried about how he will manage his studies. He has been slacking off since the beginning of the year.)
Shravan: Yeh kya naya bomb phod ke chale gaye sir. Ab kya karoon? Main. Toh. Gaya.
(Jeevika comes into the basketball court, and goes up to Shravan.)
