Lost in Time

The beginning

It was hopeless.

Cal walked back to his room, away from the happy couple.

How long could he hold off set?

How long would the Knife ruse work?

Would set find some way to corrupt him with magic?

Was Riccaro actually gone forever?

Cal shuts the door, and plops down in his desk chair. Lost in his thoughts, the last thing he thought before going to sleep was,
"I wish I was anywhere but here."

It was a typical day in the Protector's Guild. Jakey had woken up to Oliver licking him in his ear.
"W-wha? O-Oliver! S-Stop it!"
I push Oliver aside, getting out of bed. Looking over at the clock, it reads 6:01. Wait.....6:01! I'm late for training!!!
"Lo' Pho is going t-to have my h-head!"
I run out the door, grabbing my staff and heading for the training spot.
"Jaaaaaaaakey!!!"
"Y-y-yes Lo' Pho?"
"Why were you late again?!"
"I-I- It wont happen again! I promise!"
"You said that last weeek! Jakey, what have you been doing?"
"N-Nothing. I-I swear."
In reality, it isn't nothing. I really don't know how Brian gets here on time, but I glance over at him, and see him yawning. We have been meeting almost every night, and these have been the best days of my life. I couldn't imagine myself without Brian anymore.
"-akey, Jakey!"
"Y-Yes Lo Pho?"
"What did I just say?"
"Uh, Uh, it's t-time to t-train?"
Everyone giggles, even Brian. My face turns red and I look away, as Lo Pho continues.

If only I could get away from this Embarrassment.
