She couldn't believe her eyes. The very same boy she saw fixing the candelabra was crouched by her bed, staring at her with wide eyes. A slender black cat calmly sat next to him, a black cherry collar clasped around it's neck, contrasting from it's enchanting orange eyes.

"I-I..." the boy stuttered, stumbling as he tried to stand. He reached his hand towards her in reassurance, but it was all for naught when she pointed towards him and began to scream.

The baseball bat dropped to the floor, making a rattling noise as it rolled. (Y/N) backed away from him, pressing her self against a wall.

"I-I'm not trying to hurt you!" He shouted above her. She stopped to breathe.

"You're, you're..." She could barely comprehend her own speech at this point, all the stress from today was piling on top of her at once. One more surprise and she would-

"Relax love, Oko couldn't hurt a fly even if he wanted to."

She glanced down to the source of the voice, her cat jumped down from the bed, gracefully striding towards her and sitting in the doorway.

"Now how about you sit down and let us explain, dear?" He spoke.

That's it. Everything came toppling down at once, including herself.

"Way to go cat..." she heard the boy sigh, before finally blacking out.

(Y/N) woke up to the smell of hot tea; earl grey, to be exact. She was curled up on top of the couch, a throw pillow underneath her head, and a warm ball of fluff purring next to her. She slowly got up, cradling the cat in her arms as not to disturb him. She let out a quiet groan and clutched her head with one hand; perhaps she had hit the floor harder than she thought.

She slowly remembered the situation at hand, there was a possibly dangerous person in her house! She went to crouch down and hide when a tall, slender, figure calmly walked past her and set two mugs on the coffee table. She froze in place, staring as he sat down in the antique reading chair across from her. He shot her a piercing glance; although it only lasted an instant, she jolted with the shiver sent down her spine.

The scary expression melted into a warm smile, though it did seem rather forced. (Y/N) eased back a tiny bit, the cat in her arms leaping onto the sofa to stretch. She barely noticed the shift, she was to focused on reading the unknown person in front of her.

"So you're awake?" He started, snapping her out of her trance. His voice felt a bit tense.

"Feeling alright? You hit your head on a doorknob." He finished. She felt the small bump on the back of her head, and slowly nodded, without taking her eyes off of him.
