The heater in the classroom did not even play their job that well today. Hasn't the campus stolen a good amount of money from the students every year? Why did the class still hasn't changed the old heater to a newer one? The lecturer could practically see the students shivering from the cold weather this morning. Wrapping themselves with their thick jacket closely just to create some body heat.
"That's it for today," his last words were like heaven for them. Sigh and groan escaped the students mouth once he left the classroom followed by students who're already waiting for him to shut up. It was the first hell class for her today and still expect another two similar classes today. Hoping the other classes have better heater than this one.
10 minutes break from one subject to another was not that help since the campus was too big for her small steps. Cursing inside her head for forgetting her water bottle at her apartment. It was the first time for her to forget to bring her water bottle today. Maybe because yesterday meeting, she got her head full of Chang Bin's plan and her studies. Eventually forgetting every small thing that should be remembered. Her phone showed her that she only has a minute left to find the next class or else it will detain her perfect attendance. Looking on the good side, her classes today took place in the same building and safely arrived at the next class before the lecturer came.
"Y/N!" Chang Bin silently called while waving his hand midair. She gulped, not expecting their next encounter will be this fast. Thought they just got the same class on Monday or is it because she's too ignorant about anything around her. She slowly sat beside him, putting her thick textbooks on the table. Not sparing any glance to him and busying herself on unboxing whatever she got in her backpack. It's not that she didn't like Chang Bin, but there are few reasons she's uncomfortable around him.
First of all. Even though he looked like a bookworm, he's one of the popular kids on her major. Got some fan club right there. Girls staring at her after he called her name instantly made her shoulder slumped. Not to mention, he's famous for being rich. Imagine how many people head over heels for him. Second, she's not that comfortable with people. Been a lone wolf since child really made her a very independent girl over time. Used to doing homework alone even though it was supposed to be a groupwork.
Thankfully, Chang Bin was talking with one of his friends and letting her do whatever she's doing. Once the lecturer stepped her foot inside the classroom, she sighed in relief that she'll solely focus on her lecturer. Not minding the boy beside her. She's glad that he didn't bring up his plan at campus, leaving them looked like just an acquaintance. Well, it was his only rule for them to stay on his team. Don't say anything about this plan outside this house. The members were trustworthy enough to not spill anything to outsiders. Who would they spill them to anyway?
"Hey," Chang Bin suddenly whispered to her, making her a little startled. Leaning a bit too close. "Can I look at your note? I got left behind." She nodded and pushed her notebook a little so he can see it. He mouthed a thank you and copied everything he needed to copy. Eyes still glued to the black board, but she could clearly see some girls glancing towards her or even whispering on her peripheral vision. She groaned silently and massage her temple, already anxious by the hostile glares the girls gave her. It was just copying her notebook. What will happened if she's seen eating lunch with him? Wait. They did have lunch together. Not to mention, with Chang Kyun who won the 'Campus King' last year. She cussed under her breath and tried to focus on her lecturer again. "Something wrong? You keep sighing and rubbing your temple."
"Nope," she forced a faint smile and took her note back once he finished copying the theory. The class seemed endless since her focus now distracted with the girls in front of her giggled loud enough for the whole class to hear. Either the lecturer was tired from her voice or she really didn't mind her distracting her class.
