Judges must read at least 15 chapters of the book to be able judge properly (if it is shorter read all of it). They must not comment or vote on any of the chapters since it may show who might win.

Details Cover and Title Does it look pleasing? Does it make you want to read it? Is the cover too simple/over the top? Is the title attention grabbing? Is the title too long?
Description Does the description engage you? Does it make you want to read the book? Is it too long/short? Does it coordinate with what the book is about?
Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling Is the punctuation correct? Is the it all spelt right? Is the grammar correct? Did they keep the same tense through the whole book?
Details Does it use metaphors, similes etc. in it? Does it have a wide range of vocabulary? Does it engage you? Does it help you imagine it better?
Characters Are they original(except FanFiction)? Are they realistic (e.g. not always happy/sad)? How is the character development (growth)? Do they make the book more exciting to read?
Storyline Plot Is it original and unique? Is it engaging and fun to read? Does it make you want to keep reading? Does it generally fit the genre?
Overall What is generally fun to read? Would you recommend it? Did you enjoy it?
Poetry Judging is taken by a founder ( aditixh) so the criteria is not here.
