'I.. I thought something was wrong when i saw him giving her looks at the dinner table, but i didn't say anything.. i should've said something.. this is all my fault, damnit!!!.' She yelled, sobbing even harder(if that was possible). 'I'm so sorry..'i'm so sorry.', was all that she kept saying, as she rocked herself back and fourth.
I ran over to her and put my arms around her and together we cried.
I didn't even hear the police cars come, all i know is that when i looked up, a police man was escorting Uncle Pete off our property.

A couple days later, (monday, actually) i had just gotten back home from cheer practice, and was headed upstairs to take a shower. Auntie Amiee and my little cousins had gone back home, Uncle Pete, was still here in Celebration, Florida, (haha i know the name sounds fake, but it isin't!! trust me), because he had a trial. My father had convinced me to press charges, and I had. Since Uncle Pete, was mom's brother she had spoken against it, and wasn't all that pleased when i chose to go against her, although i don't understand why. I'm her daughter, I was almost raped, I was still scared.. not her. And yet she thought she had the right to be angry, just because it's her brother.. Ha, mother even took it as far as to threaten to disown me, but dad talked her out of it... Well more like YELLED her out of it.
He became so upset when he heard what mom had said, that he went off on her, Saying things like, 'How dare you question MY daughter!', and 'Hell, it's your daughter too!, and you want to disown her!!?, What the fuck is your problem!? your a selfish bitch!. Always caring more about yourself, than your daughter, well you know what Belinda?, It's over. I'm done. I CAN'T and WON'T take it anymore. OUR DAUGHTER WAS ALMOST RAPED!!, And all you can do is say you don't believe her!?!' He ranted.
Well yeah, since the big argument and the scene at the house when Auntie Amiee, neither me, nor dad was really in the mood to talk to mom. So instead me and dad basically had some father-daghter bonding time while we worked on what i would say at the trial, and he also apologized for not being there for me, while i almost got raped, and also while he was just at his job.

It's been two weeks and i still haven't talked to mom much. I think that she might be feeling bad about how she acted because lately she's been trying to talk to me more, and been buying me stuff, which i guess is mother's way of apologizing. Although i still haven't forgiven her.

Four weeks since all that stuff happened, and now i was finally going to the trial that would hopefully put my uncle behind bars for a long, long time.
