"Please, don't eat me! Don't-don't eat me please! I-I have a fam-family...I can't die, ple-I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Please don't kill me." The human begged for his life from his impending doom.
"Tsk, what are you sorry for? Acting like you and your family are special, special for what? Ya'll are the same, food for me."
"No! No! Please, please, I'll do anythi-" The man's begging did nothing to stop him from dying. After her meal, the girl licked off the blood that stained her fingers to prevent getting messy. She suddenly felt an overpowering presence.
"Ara~ What do we have here...a vile demon. It seems I came too late, don't matter, I'll make this quick." Shinobu moved to attack the demon but suddenly she was out of her sight.
"Oh? You aren't fast enough~ Try harder and maybe you'll be able to kill me~" Y/N taunted as she moved away from Shinobu. Shinobu turned around to where the voice came from and met eyes with the demon.
"Oh My~ What a beauty you are~ Such a shame that you're a demon slayer. We can change that if you want? Want me to turn you into one? You'll be stronger and faster! How about become my lover as well? I can definitely provide for you! How amazing would that be?!"
"Thank you for the offer~ Unfortunately, I'm not interested. I don't care to become a vile demon." Shinobu moved to attack again and yet it was dodged by the demon. Shinobu was starting to get annoyed and agitated.
"Why not~ Better move faster if you want to even get a scratch on me. How about this, let's see who can land a hit first, If I defeat you, you become my bride, if I lose well I won't put up a fight and you can kill me. That's fair, right? Right? Let's do it!" Y/N got close to Shinobu's face but Shinobu wasn't playing and striked at her. "I don't have time for this. Can you just die~" The demon moved away and pouted.
"That hurts~ Since you don't want to do this, I'll just do it my way." Y/N moved to different directions fast and Shinobu couldn't keep up. She went close to Shinobu and broke one of her forearms. Shinobu cried out in pain and held her arm. She tried to attack Y/N but it was futile.
"I don't wanna hurt you~ Just comply with me, why don't you."
"I would never! I can still fight..." Shinobu tried to attack but her injury slowed her down.
"You give me no choice then~" Y/N went close to Shinobu again and broke the other forearm. Shinobu was no longer able to attack, Y/N went to Shinobu and caressed her face.
"Don't worry~ I'll take care of you~" Y/N was smiling so widely but Shinobu still tried to attack her. Shinobu raised her leg to attack Y/N with the blade that came from her shoe. Unfortunately, Y/N is too fast and was able to move away. She disarmed Shinobu and made sure she won't try anything again.
"Now then, to make sure you won't ever run away from me..." Y/N brainwashed Shinobu to make her believe they were lovers. Shinobu fainted from the pain in her arms. Y/N carried her to their 'home' and treated Shinobu there.
"Ugh...my head hurts and my arms are aching..." Shinobu looked around her surroundings and realized she was at home. "Are you feeling better? You shouldn't worry me like that! What would I do if I lose you?" Shinobu looked for the owner of the voice and saw...her lover?
"What happened?" Shinobu asked her lover.
"You were hunting and demon slayers came and attacked you, which is why your arms hurt and when you got home, you suddenly fainted and hit your head on the table, you probably overworked yourself. Those damn demon slayers!" Y/N looked at her lover with worried eyes. "You don't have to go hunting anymore, I'll do it for us, I did say I'll provide for you."
Shinobu felt guilty for worrying her lover and agreed to not go hunting anymore and let her lover do it. They went about their day and spent time together.
One thing plagued Shinobu's mind, 'When did we become lovers?'
