I STILL NEED YOU

CHAPTER - 23

MON-EL'S POV

Winn found the place where I was held captive for two months, the worst two months of my life. He got the evidences which were the pictures of that place. It was kind of reliving my horrifying moments there once again.

Winn and Brainy kind of found a idea to bring my powers back but it is temporarily. They said with time it may become permanent but they are not sure about that. Robbie immediately started working on the formula they gave him. I just hope that it will work so that I can help my friends to win.

We all were talking for a long time now and we got interrupted by a phone call. Alex excused herself and got up from the table immediately. We all gave each other weird glances but eventually let it go.

After two or three minutes a furious looking Alex came rushing towards me. I gulped down and stared at her in astonishment. She pushed my chair by kicking it which made me fall on the ground on my butt. I groaned in pain, I stood up from the ground while constantly rubbing my butt.

Her wrath didn't end there, she pinned me to the wall and placed her hands around my neck which clearly choked me. She abruptly withdrew her hands from my neck and I was coughing and breathing heavily.

She took a hold of my shirt collar and pointed her index finger towards me. " I have very painful ways to make you tell me why the hell you did it using my index finger ".  I gulped down but before I could speak anything Winn interrupted us. " Oh I have been there at the end of that finger it's no good. I'm telling you Mon-el whatever she is asking, you should tell her ". She glared at Winn enough for him to  immediately shut up his mouth.

I was completely clueless about what was happening and Winn was not helping me by making sarcastic comments. " Alex will you just release me from your hold then I think I will be able to understand what you want to ask me ". I said and Alex dropped her hands from my collar but she didn't stop glaring at me not even for one second.

I took few breaths to ease my mind before answering to her questions. " What did I do now ? ". I asked Alex and she scoffed at my words. " You are really trying to act that clueless Mon-el ". She glared at me while I was still completely clueless about the situation.

I didn't say anything and she groaned before speaking anything. " What the hell happened last night with Kara ? ". Alex hissed every single word in front of me and I just stood there, my eyes wide open.

I gulped really hard and I couldn't stop thinking about the possibilities of how my life will end through the hands of Alex Danvers. I think the most easy and less painful way would be a headshot.

" Alex I have a reason ". I said with trembling voice and Alex started clapping her hands. " You have a reason to make my little sister cry all night and at her workplace. I am sorry Mon-el but you have to explain that reason to me and it's better be good ". She huffed and sat on the chair in front of me.

She crossed her legs and folded her arms in front of her chest and the threatening look didn't leave her face. " She cried today ? ". Those were the first words that left my mouth and she nodded glaring at me. I mean I don't blame her it's my fault I know I messed really bad this time.

" I know I messed up ". I whispered but I was sure that everyone heard it very clearly. " That's your reason ". Alex stood immediately and I raised my hands in defeat. " I didn't know what else to say to you. You were looking like an angry dinosaur ". I said and Winn chuckled and this made him earn a deathly glare from Alex.

Alex was going to hit me but Winn and Brainy interrupted her. " What happened guys all we know is that it is related to Kara and here you are ready to kill Mon-el any moment now ". Winn said the last part chuckling which didn't end well because Alex slapped the back of his head.
