Chapter 1:

“Hello, I’d like to know your name. Of course you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to. No troubles.”

It was the first time i saw her. She smiled and walked on by. I couldn’t help but stare. She was radiant. Absolutely stunning. I sorry if you feel like this is weird at all. Its just that these dreams have been keeping me awake at night. The perfect girl. The first time we would meet.  I need to tell someone about her. My name is Demetri, and I am the book that you are currently reading. I hope we can be friends. I don’t have many, considering I’m a book and all. But i feel like maybe if you read enough of me, we could go somewhere. Please don’t close me. Not until the end at least. I get lonely.

“To have someone read me, caress my pages…. It feels… unexplainable. Nothing sexual, i swear. I just feel like for once i have a friend. Take into consideration that i still don’t know your  name. You can tell me later. I don’t mind.”

I sat back into my chair. Wondering about the possibilities of my new friendship. Would she be kind to me? Will we tell each other secrets? Of course looks don’t matter, because i cant see her. I guess only time will tell, but i hope this friendship will blossom. These reoccurring dreams are becoming nightmarish, because whenever the girl passes me i can never find the words to speak to her. She walks by without a simple hello because i am too much of a pansy to talk to her. Id like to follow her to talk to her one day. I’m not sure if that’s creepy or….. Id rather not think about it.

“you’re still here?” I asked, “i thought you left a while ago. Ive been sitting here pondering my dreams….. They’re quite interesting, i swear. Would you like to hear of them?”
