CR. 1912 was an infiltration Specialist for the Snowtroopers of the 923rd Ranger Corps. Rather than using the heavy weapons that could be used by the Snowtroopers, his men instead would carry DC-19 Blasters. While he did carry a DC-15A Rifle, he would often prefer to use his Vibroknife and Subsonic Grenades until they were caught. Since CR. 1912 had no real way to distinguish himself from his men physically he would request that he would be given an upgraded comms set, in order to better communicate with his men while on assignment. This new upgrade would land him the nickname "Mindset" as a joke about his new gear. Mindset would put the upgrade to the test during the Second Battle of Umbara, when his men were to spend a few days infiltrating an Umbaran compound in order to secure vital Intel about Umbaran deployments, and vital members of their leadership.
