She parked the car nearby and they both headed towards the club. It was twelve'o clock in the night, a quite remote area and hence the club remained open as no officer patrolled the area. Vivan remained silent. Aarti ordered one glass of red wine and one beer for Vivan. She gulped down the wine as promptly as possible and continued taking couple more shots until Vivan stopped her. 'Don't stop me Vivan. You remember Aman from high school. We used to date each other, although we both have betrayed each other a couple of times, we had decided to stay together this time.'

'And he's with Prachi now, right?' Vivan said. Aarti looked at him amazed. She was shocked, her eyes wide open. 'Prachi and I, we had a thing. We work together at my office and we kind of liked each other. Just a few weeks before when I was going to confess her about my feelings, I saw Aman and Prachi together at the restaurant, holding each other's hands and sharing a kiss.'

She clenched her fist. Her eyes looking at Vivan in disgrace as if she didn't want to listen to any other word about Aman. She started looking in the other direction facing the bartender thinking about Aman and Prachi in the Garba ground and how she couldn't see him with someone who's not her. Her heart was in deep grief, she wanted to cry, she wanted to run away from the whole world, she wanted to kill this unending pain, so she ran out of the Garba ground wiping off her tears.

Aarti stood off the chair, staggering towards the washroom. She was about to fall on the ground when Vivan refrained her from falling taking her in his warm, muscular arms. She started laughing like a child all of a sudden, she pushed him and went up the stage yelling her story of pain. Vivan kept rushing behind her but she was on cloud nine. She ran throughout the club, probably searching for the love she needed, the comfort, the honesty she was looking for in Aman. The pain she had buried inside her for weeks, was flowing out like a tsunami that cannot be ceased. Her watery eyes made Vivan feel disgusting, thinking how helpless he is that he can't do anything. Her immortal smile, on the other hand, made Vivan forget all his pain and numbness.
