Mission 8: An Invitation To Dance

Male Narrator: Shiro, Scrat and Polie walked inside the Crystal Ball Building and rode up the elevator to the third floor, which is where the human security guard told them to go. Once they got off the elevator and stopped by the archway, Polie and Scrat were shocked at how many people had showed up, and it wasn't even time for the party to start. They did notice that a lot of the other guests were either wearing masks or just human. Scrat assumed that the guests wearing the masks were other furry animals that kept their faces hidden, in the hopes of not being recognized by the humans. They could totally agree on that note, being different from the humans and having animal like features, having cat ears on their heads and cat tails swinging behind them, being called freaks and getting hated by the humans, it's no wonder why they are afraid to show their faces, but despite that... The cat boys put all those thoughts aside and followed Shiro into the main area. 

Everyone was talking, drinking punch dancing to the music and eating some of the tasty food. Scrat was eating some pieces of the cheese plates they had, and Polie was drinking some punch while eating a piece of chocolate cake, while Shiro looked like he was longing around for someone, Polie looked at him with a curious face, and decided to ask him what was the matter. 

Polie: (looks up at Shiro with a curious face) Shiro? What's wrong?... Shiro: (snaps out of his thoughts and looks down to Polie a little) Huh? What? Polie: (looks a little curious but worried) You look like you're waiting for someone important to show up. Is there someone famous arriving? Shiro: (still looks spaced out) Huh? (then smiles like there's nothing wrong) Oh no, I uhm... D-Don't worry about it, Polie. I was just looking at the nice decorations they have here, that's all. Polie: (still looks a little worried but shrugs and keeps eating his chocolate cake) .... 

Male Narrator: As the time began to strike at 8:00 PM, it was time for this party to really get started. Some more guests were arriving and it turns out that Allura and Lance are two of the main guests, Shiro was surprised yet mad at the same time when he saw Lance again, but he tried his best not to look in that certain direction. Meanwhile, Scrat was flirting with two girls who looked like to be female cats under their masks, and Polie was wondering where Shiro was, since all three of them had gotten separated somehow. Just then, another song started to play, and Shiro has a special reason for disappearing. Polie tried to get out of the big human crowd he was currently trapped in, he managed to find and grabbed someone's hand, but was surprised by who had pulled him out of that huge crowd... It was Shiro! Polie looked up surprised while slightly blushing a little, Shiro smirked and ran with Polie into the center of the dance floor, and got into place as the next the song was about to start playing.

Male Narrator: Everyone else who was on the dance grabbed their partners hands or paws and started to dance to the song. Allura, Scrat, and Lance were watching Shiro and Polie dance in time with the music, Allura had to admit, they are really good at dancing together and Scrat thinks that despite being a human and a cat, he still thinks they make a great and cute couple. But Lance however? Was buying any of this, he thinks there's something strange going on with Shiro and the hooded figure he's dancing with, he can't put a finger on what, but something seems off with both of them, that includes Scrat as well, and he's going to find out what. 

As the song kept playing, Shiro and Polie were now dancing in perfect rhythm to the lyrics, realizing that maybe this song was played perfectly just them? But even if it wasn't, they were still having a lot of fun, so Shiro decided to take it up a notch. He then grabbed Polie by his waist and lifted him slightly into the air and put him down, like the Royal Ball scene from Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire, then Polie decided to take it even further, he let go of Shiro and started spinning like a top. Then he did the hustle and Shiro joined in too, then they did the shimmy shake, they split up again and Shiro spun around three times then did some hip-hop moves, while Polie did the Monster Mash dance. Then they grabbed their hands and paws and spun around twice then they let go again, then Shiro spins Polie around like a Princess. Then he spins until he's in Polie's arms, and Polie does the same. For the final move, Shiro picks up Polie, tosses him high into the air and catches him, then bents him down a little for the final dance move.
