Manik's POV..

She asked me about the dishes....
Oh shit... What should I say now.... .. think Manik.... Say something nice!

"What happened?" She asked.. as I was lost in my thoughts.

" Wo... Actually... Ya u r right... It's co-incidence... I didn't know about Ur likes and dislikes... It's just that.... I asked the Cook to serve their best... They served this.... Hope you liked it! " I said confidently.

She smiled and nodded.

During lunch we were quite. After it... I asked the waiter to bring desert.

"What will u like to have?" I asked.

"Ice cream.! " She said with smile.

" Okay... Get us two butterscotch icecream!" I said to waiter.

During enjoying the icecream ....
She asked , "i know it's little awkward to ask.. but... I need to ask it... Please don't judge me! "

" Ofcourse I won't... Go ahead... Ask anything ! " I assured her.

" Wo.. kya ham pehle mile hai ? " She asked.

My icecream was stucked in my throat and i coughed.

"I m sorry... If u felt wrong.... I was asking...!" She said and offered me tissue.

I took the tissue and started wiping my lips.

She asked me about US..... Really... It means she remember something... It's not all over.

"Can u please elaborate ur question?" I said with wide smile...

She must be thinking i m crazy.... I should be shocked with her question and i m smiling.

"I asked that... It seems to me like... I know you.... That's why I am asking... Kya ham mile hai? " She said

" If I say Yes... Then? " I asked

" Really... Where... How... Do you know me... I mean.... What do u know about me... Please... Share it... I m.... I can't explain... Please.. let me know! "
She said in one breath.
She seems to be excited.

Should I say her...but... what if she doesn't believe me... what will i do !

"Ya....i know you... it's just that...i want to take it slow.... let's just go with the flow...!" I said and kept my hand on her hand.

Nandani's POV....

Till now i was comfortable with him...he tried his level best to make me comfortable....!

As he kept his hand on mine...
I was taken back in my thoughts....
His touch doesn't felt like unknown....
Then also i dragged my hand back from his grip!

"Can i ask one more thing?" I said

"Ya ... Sure!" He replied.

"What's the relationship between us?"

He took a deep breath and said,"as i said earlier... let's take it slow....!"

He took a spoon of icecream.

"Am i ur sister or what .....!" I said casually.

He again shocked.

"What...no...not at all.... don't even think that!" He said in one breath.

"Okay.. okay..why r u over-reacting?"

" Ur questions r scaring me...!" He rolled his eyes.

I laughed loud as his words were so cute.

Manik's POV...

After the lunch...we came out of the restaurant..

"So..it was nice meeting you Mr Malhotra!" She said.

" It's Manik for u !" I said.

" But...?"

" No buts..we r friends now right...so we can talk normally...i can call u Nandani and u can call me Manik...no need to be formal!"

She nodded.

" Words Nandani !" I said with smile.

" Okay......Ma...Manik!" She said with great efforts.

I smiled.

"So..i should leave now !" She said.

"No...i mean...abhi to sirf 4 baje hai! Or meri baat bhi abhi khatam nahi Hui hai !"

She nodded.

Thank god... she is comfortable with me now.

"Let's move to beach... what say?" I asked.

"Ya... okay!" She replied.

We moved to my car...
 
" Give me the keys!" I said to my driver.

"But sir...?" Driver was about to say something but stopped as i glared him to give the keys.

I opened the passenger seat for her and moved to driver seat after she settled.

I drove the car to beach.

"Ye....itna sannata kyun hai yeha....? Yeha log nahi aate kya?" She asked me after looking empty place.

" This is my private beach .... public is not allowed here!" I said with smile.

" Oh...i completely forgotten... i m hanging out with THE  MANIK  MALHOTRA!"

We laughed.
I took her to an open cottage which was made on the sea side.

We settled on the chairs .

She was happy to see the view..... and i was happy... because she was happy!

"U wanted to talk something na ..
. say!" She said to me.
