Virgil's POV
TW: swearing, physical abuse, Whipping, mentions of cutting, body shaming..? I think that's how you say that (tell me if there is any more!)
I was sleeping when I heard my father call me from the living room.
"Virgil! Get your ass down here now you shit hole!"
I sigh and sit up. "He must be really drunk if he can't come up with a good name." I mumble, getting up, going to my closet.
When I get to my closet, I look at it. One of the doors are missing, and has been for a while. I shudder at the bad memories of my dad pushing me against it, making it break off.
I get out a black long sleeve shirt and my hoodie I wear everyday. It is a black hoodie with purple plaid patches stitched with thick, white thread. I take off my t-shirt from the night before and puts on the shirt and hoodie. Then I go to my dresser to get a pair of black pants out and takes off my shorts, showing new and old cuts, then I put on my pants quickly. I grab socks out and I start putting black eye shadow under my eyes then puts the socks on. I put on my shoes then I walk down stairs to the living roomy meet my father.
Once I get to the living room, my father looks at me, it makes me flinch. Then he yells. "Look at you! I told you not to eat! You look disgusting and fat! You shouldn't eat anymore!"
I flinch again and I squeak out a small, "sorry sir..."
My father goes to the closet and grabs a whip. I whimper softly. "F-father p-please no...
"Against the couch now!" He yells and I obey immediately, bending over the back of the couch. He lifts my shirt and hoodie. Then he whips my back as hard as he could. I scream in pain and starts to tear up.
He continued to whip my back for five minutes. Those five minutes seemed like hours. After he finished, my father pulls down my hoodie and shirt down harshly, making me wince. "Get to school now you fucking brat." He says harshly.
I nod and shakily gets up grabbing my bag. I shakily put on my headphones and slowly walks to school.
