Izuku Midoriya was walking home slowly... he had just been to his Sensei's Dojo and he had brought his things as well as discussed his future, Sensei Ito suggested strength training to continue his training as well as it would allow him to increase his strength overall- it would be gruelling work but it would be rewarding. Now, Izuku would just need to find a place and he knew just the place to do so.
Izuku thought about how he met All-Might, when he was younger Izuku would have been ecstatic to meet him, but he had grown past that and now he didn't want to be a hero, don't get him wrong he admired heroes and was thankful that they existed and maintained the peace, he had nothing against them.. but he had let go of his childish dream and moved on, pursuing Martial Arts as a sport and exercise to maintain in shape rather than the last-ditch effort he first entered it as. He had given up on it and he had Sensei Ito to thank for putting him back together and helping him find purpose in life... even if he still told him he could be a hero.
Izuku's thought abruptly stopped as his Instincts forced him to move away from a blast of explosive energy coming towards him, Izuku quickly moved away to see a boy escape it- the slime villain was back and had a new hostage.
Izuku looked at the hostage- all he could see through the flames that had appeared from the explosions, was beautiful onyx eyes desperately seeking help... until that emotion died out as a morbid acceptance replaced it...
Suddenly Izuku was running.
Izuku didn't know why he was running or what he was going to do when he got there but he ran with his speed at it's max running to the flames. All Izuku knew was he needed to help her, no matter what. Suddenly he felt a weight in his hands saw the blade again, and he felt a wave of energy pass through him as he ran through the flames. He suddenly knew what to do.
As Izuku ran he saw the girl looking straight at him, eyes slowly being covered by her eyelids, but enough was present for Izuku to see her emotions go from surprise to need... and then hope, cementing Izuku's need to get there. As he saw her eyelids struggle to stay open, he saw her hand reach out to him, just as he neared her.
Izuku didn't have a plan until he heard a voice in his head say-
"Slash the blade."
Izuku didn't have time to question it so he slashed the blade and let loose a slash of energy which barrelled towards the villain heading directly towards its weak spot... it's eyes. Izuku ran towards the villain never stopping as he relegated another piece of information to question at a later time.
Izuku rushed the villain and brought it down on the villain twice, separating it from the girl... and scattering the villain into pieces. The girl was unconscious and as soon as the villlian was removed from her, she lost anything maintaining upright and so her knees buckled as she fell forward towards the ground...
...where Izuku caught her before she fell, face to his ear as he check for breath, hearing none he turned her to the ground as the Pros yelled at him.
Ignoring them he started CPR as he screamed to them, "Call the ambulance you fucking useless bastards" as he silently counted to 10 while he pushed down on her chest each time, where he opened her mouth and breathed into her mouth. Izuku pulled back when he felt her convulsing, she coughed out of the sludge villain part. She grasped her reality before croaking out, "Stay with me." Before passing out. At that moment the ambulance arrived, and the world became a blur around him as it focused on the girl, watching her, pushing past anyone who tried to stop him. Izuku could feel a bond form between them, he didn't know what, but he knew he had to protect her and let her grow and save her from the demon that clutched her to his chest.
