Chapter 33

Donna's POV:

I wake up from a small stomach pain and groan before opening my eyes to find myself in a hospital room. I look around and see machines attached to help me, I bush the button to sit up the bed and I see on the chair at the other side of the room with my clothes and accessories on it. I pull the covers off me and as I'm about to step off the hospital bed I hear the door open, making me freeze and turn my head to the door. I see a doctor come in and he looks up at me before smiling and saying "I see Miss has gotten up." He walks up to me with his file in his hands with my information in it and he checks the blood bag and water bag before asking me "Do you feel any pain? All these injuries must've been rough for you and your babies." I shake my head to answer his question and he nods before saying as he grabs the stool and sits next to my bed "Speaking of your babies, I have bad news." I turn concerned and he tells me "When the accident took place, a piece of the car stabbed into the womb and went through one of the boys. I'm sorry, but... you child is dead." My heart sinks and my eyes start watering before he apologizes for my loss as he holds onto my hand. I nod, trying to pull myself together, and he tells me "We're going to need to operate of the womb and remove the corpse before he contaminates the space and kills the other baby." I nod understanding and he nods back before we hear the door suddenly open. I see Jin enter the room in panic and he sees me before rushing to me and hugging me. I smile and hug back before he checks my state while asking me "Are you okay, honey? What happened to you?" I smile at his worry for me and the doctor explains to him what he told me before Jin's smile drops and I see his eyes start to water. He changes his expression and smiles at me before saying "Well.. At least we have the second one to look after." I nod agreeing and he asks the doctor "When will she be able to come home?" before he answers him "Only in a couple days, don't worry." I sigh of relief and he leaves us before Jin looks back at me and asks me "How did you end up like this? Did you have a car accident?" I shrug and whisper out loud "I only remember flashing lights coming right at me from my left."

Taehyung's POV:

As I walk around the hospital I see a doctor leave Donna's hospital room, making me concerned. I walk up to the man and ask him "What happened? Is she okay?" He chuckles and answers "She is doing very well, her boyfriend is in there with her and she will get into surgery in an hour now." before starting to walk away but I grab ahold of his arm and he turns around before I ask him "Surgery? What kind of surgery?" He replies "She needs surgery to get her dead baby removed from the womb." and my expression drops before he leaves and my eyes start watering. A tear falls down my cheek as I realize Donna lost one of her twins because of me. I am a horrible person, worse than I thought. I look over at Donna room door and breathe heavily from grief before looking down and sitting in the waiting room, not far from her room.

3 days later

Jimin's POV:

It's been a few days since Jin left and Taehyung and Donna were gone. I wonder where they are are why they have been gone for so long. As we're watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S, I turn to Yoongi and ask him "Do you think something happened to V and Donna? Is that why Jin has been gone for so long?" He looks at me and replies as he places his hand on my lap "I'm sure they're fine, Jin would've called us if that was the case." I nod reassured and we hear the front door open before I turn my head as I get up. We see the three come in the house before we walk up to them and I ask them "Where have you guys been all this time?" I see that Tae has bandages around his ribs, under his open jacket. Taehyung answers uneasily "Donna hit me with her car and crashed so we went to the hospital while her car got picked up by my mechanic friend." and I nod understanding before Donna whispers something in Jin's ear. Jin looks at her and replies at her "Are you sure you want to do this?" before she boldly nods and they turn back to us. Jin tells us "One of Donna's twins died in the car crash, she went through surgery so you should be careful around her because she still needs treatment." and our eyes widen before I look down at her pregnant belly and realize that it's a little smaller than before. It can't be true but it must be. I feel bad that she lost her child but there's nothing we can do except expect the second one. We pretend all of this never happened and we invite them to watch tv with us before they accept and we all sit on the couch before continuing the episode we started.

Jin's POV:

I'm between Taehyung and Donna so that he doesn't try anything suspicious, she's sitting next to me and V's sitting at the edge of the couch while we're at the other side. I don't know what actually happened between the both of them that night but one thing I found out is that Taehyung's car is missing. That's suspicious, I don't think what happened that night was just an accident..
