Chapter 24

4 months later

I feel weird today and remember that last night was the second time me and Jin had sex without condoms, since we're trying to have a baby. So I run up the stairs and knock on Taehyung's door before he answers and I activate my speaker shouting out Drive me to the shopping center. Now. He nods and I drag him down the stairs before we get in the car and he quickly drives to the mall. We get there after a dozen minutes and I hurry to the pharmacy before buying a pregnancy test. I come out of it and Taehyung sees what's in my hand before he says under his breath "Oh shit!" We run to the ladies bathroom and I lock myself in one of the cabinets before peeing on the stick. After taking the test I come out of the cabinet to see V waiting close to the sink and I place the test on the counter sink before putting a timer for 5 minutes. I bite my nails as I wait for the results and see that Taehyung is more nervous than excited. But as I realize that the timer beeps and I turn it off before looking over at the pregnancy test to see a positive result. My eyes widen and I smile widely before jumping up and hugging Tae tightly. He hugs back with half as much joy and I pull away before picking up the stick and showing him the result. He smiles and looks up at me before saying "Congrats, you're gonna be a mom." I smile and nod before we leave the bathroom and go back to the car. We drive back to the house and I run up the stairs before entering me and Jin's bedroom to find Jin in the bed with his computer on his legs. I walk up to him all excited and whisper in his ear "I have a surprise for you." He smiles and puts his MAC away before facing me, I cover his eyes with my hand and he asks me "Do I have to give you my hand to put something in it?" I peck his cheek once as a YES (one peck for yes, two for no) and he puts his hands together before lifting them up to me. I smile as I see how cute he is and I grab the pregnancy test from my back pocket before placing in his hands. I take my hand off from his eyes and he sees the stick in his hands before his eyes widen and he looks up at me in shock. I smile and he looks down at my belly before poking it, making me giggle at his adorable reaction. I see his eyes water as he scoffs and he mumbles as a tear rolls down his cheek "I'm gonna be a dad.." I nod at him and hug him before he tightly hugs back and holds back his emotions by sinking his head in my neck. We pull away and he looks down at my belly area before leaning over to it and gluing his ear to my stomach, he asks "Hello? Is there a baby in there?" I giggle as he does that and he places his hand on my belly before slowly caressing it. I stroke Jin's hair and let him talk to the egg in my stomach while I look down at him.

Awhile later

Me and Jin have gathered all the boys to the living and they're all sitting on the couch while Jin tells them as they looks at us "You guys are probably wondering why we brought you here. You're here because me and Donna have an announcement to make." They all look at us in confusion and Jin spits out "Donna's pregnant." before their eyes widen and they look over at me. I smile and nod positively before Jimin exclaims "Oh my god! You're having a baby!" and they start getting up and walking up to us. They start asking us questions about the baby but I see Taehyung get up from the couch and go up the stairs in frustration, making me wonder what's making him like this. I excuse myself and go up the stairs before approaching Tae's door and knocking on it. He answers and sees me before his expression drops even more and he lets me in while stepping aside. I come in and he closes the door while I sit at the end of his bed. He walks up to me and asks me as he sits next to me "Do you want to talk to me, or something?" I nod and type in my phone You don't seem happy about the good news.. I look up at him as he reads that and he asks "What're you talking about? I'm very happy for you two! Why wouldn't I be?" I erase what I wrote and type in next It's obvious you're hiding something. Just tell me what's bothering you. before looking back at Taehyung. He reads it and says as he keeps his head down "I have nothing bothering me. Really, I'm fine!", I don't believe him so I lift his chin up and he looks at me before I give him a serious look, insisting that he tells me what's wrong. He takes my hand away from him and he gets up before asking me "Do you have any idea how hard it is for me to see you with Jin?" I look up at him confused and he continues as he walks along his room but still looks at me "Do you know what it feels like to love someone but the other person doesn't? Do you know the pain?" He scoffs and says "Of course not.." before looking over at me and stopping in his tracks. He says "Seing you with Jin, cuddling him, kissing him, whispering in his ear,.. it makes my heart ache whenever I see you two together." and I start to understand before he walks over to me and tells me "My heart races every time you touch me, I can't breathe when I'm alone with you.. I..." he kneels down to me and places his hand on my knee before looking into my eyes and admitting "Donna,.. I think I'm in love with you." My concerned face melts as I here these words and I look into space as I start freaking out from all the pressure in one day. I get up and sarcastically giggle before whisper as loud as I can "Woh! It's hot in here! I think imma get some air." He gets up and watches me leave the room before I close the door and cover my face with one hand. I cover my face with both hands now and lean against Taehyung's door before asking myself millions of questions. Taehyung's in love with me? How will Jin react if I tell him this? How will I survive nine months of pregnancy with only a dog by my side, since the boys will be working? But as I ask myself the 1 000th question, the door suddenly open behind me and I fall back from leaning back on it. I quint my eyes shut but suddenly I stop falling, making my eyes open. I see V holding me from behind like he just caught me, he looks over at my arms hugging my belly and he stands be up before I nervously smile and quickly walk away from the door.
