A faux smile was plastered upon Charlie Danvers' lips as her father snapped photos of her and her brother together. In all honesty she wasn't in the correct head space for that day, school then a party. She wanted to skip it all after the morning she had endured. But for the sake of her father, she decided to plaster on a fake smile as the man had taken the morning off to see his children dressed up for the day.
"Say, 'We are adolescent'!" John exclaimed as the two repeated his words with smiles.
"Okay, we're gonna be late for school." Sam called out as their father placed the camera down on the coffee table.
"Okay, well, have fun tonight." He said hugging Sam as Charlie grabbed her bag and hugged her father. "Hopper might call me in if he needs back up."
"Back up?" Charlie asked with furrowed brows knowing the sherif wouldn't need back up unless he was uncovering something big.
