❝BRING THEIR
COLOR BACK.❞
Dusk; the time where the light turned to dark. The time where she could reflect on her life. Polluted air filled her lungs just like everyone else's; it was slowly poisoning her like the words she had spat from her mouth oh-so-many years ago. Cars honked at each other as if having an argument while the smell of garbage wafted up from the streets— it was all old news to her.
Her mind was congested with thoughts of her past— she had ripped all their hearts out of their chests slowly and painfully before stabbing it with her words. During times like these, she wondered how they were doing. Were they successful pro-heroes like she had always dreamed to be? They must have been. But even so, it scared her. What if they hadn't and it was all her fault?
Footsteps; the pattern they echoed was familiar. It reminded of her of that blonde boy who could do nothing but get angry. She looked back at the metropolitan surrounding, hoping maybe he would turn back around. It wouldn't have been him anyways.
"Hey, you-"
That voice.
The sun was long gone and her legs stopped swinging back and forth. Lights from the city shone incredibly bright. Squinting, she looked down. The drop was long from the top of the building. How many times had she been up here now? The dizziness associated with a lack of oxygen; she loved that thrill. She had chance-after-chance and today was her best bet to try. But he was here this time.
"-you're Solus aren't you?"
The sorrow— maybe there was a way to get rid of it.
"GROUND ZERO. IT'S BEEN A WHILE, HASN'T IT?"
