Circus Oddity (A Dream Team AU)

(CHAPTER 1 START)

Dream slowly opened his eyes, seeing the bottom of a top bunk. His vision was hazy, so he rubbed his eyes, clearing his vision a bit. He swung his legs over the side of the bottom bunk, sitting up, but making sure he didn't hit his head on the top bunk. He stood up, stretching. He saw his mask on the side table, grabbed it, and put it on. He didn't know where he was. He was in a room with two bunk beds, a table with chairs, a mini kitchen, a living room, and another area with a desk. He noticed two people on the couch asleep. Deciding to check who they were, he walked in front of the TV, blocking the now on TV. Under his mask,his eyes widened, and there on the couch laid George and Sapnap, both asleep. Dream just stared for a moment, not saying anything at all. After a bit of just staring at them, he moved into the bedroom again, checking the beds. He found Bad asleep in one of the bunk beds. Sighing, he looked out of the window, and saw something that was not normal. Other people, coming in and out, handing tickets to more people. Everything looked like an amusement park, or a circus. Someone saw Dream and began to point. He tried to listen to what they said as he quickly shut the curtains. He barely heard it. ' ' Mommy, Mommy look! The new attraction is finally here! I wonder how many there are! ' ' That took Dream by surprise. He concluded that he and his friends were a new 'attraction' at some sort of amusement park or circus.There was then a light knock on the door, and Dream jumped slightly. He heard a slight unlocking noise, and then the door opened then it opened and shut again.

' ' Hello..? Is anyone awake..? ' '

Dream heard a voice say. He got up, and peeked around the corner, seeing a girl in a top hat with a collar around her neck. She also had a pair of wolf ears atop her head, and a tail coming out of her backside, near her bottom. Her clothes looked like something a ringmaster would wear, very fancy-like. Her hair was a hazel-ish brown color with blonde tips. She was very pretty.

' ' Yes, I am awake. Who are you? ' ' Dream stated, walking out from behind the wall he was peering around. The girl instantly became nervous, and her ears flattened, and she cowered like Dream was going to hit her. ' ' Hey- Calm down, i'm not gonna hurt you. ' ' Dream stated, extending his hand in a gentle way.Then he retracted his arm back to himself. The girl slowly untensed, and looked at Dream while rubbing her arm. ' ' S-Sorry.. Boss usually hits me.. But.. I came here to d-deliver a message.. ' ' Dream heard the girl said. Under the mask Dream was disgusted at the first comment, but was intrigued at the second comment made towards him.
' ' What is that message? ' ' Dream asked, taking a glance at the couch and the bedroom behind him, making sure no one else was awake. She then held out a piece of paper, her hand sort of trembling, as if she was still afraid of Dream. Dream gently took the paper, not wanting to startle her anymore than he already may have. The girl bid a farewell, bowed, and exited the door, locking it back. (It can be locked from the inside and out.) Dream went back over to the window he was at, and began to read the note, supposedly from the boss of this place he woke up in. The note read:

"Dear new attraction! You and your friends have been chosen due to the fact that you all have special abilities, and they haven't awoken yet! Our special facility is designed to help you awaken those powers, and be known as a powerful being to the rest of the world! We hope we can satisfy you with your needs here because we went a long way to go and retrieve you. We hope you enjoy your stay! Once the circus closes, I, myself, will stop by, and we can begin your mental and physical training! Signed, Head Ringmaster Draco. (P.S. It ends at 4 PM.) "

It was signed and written neatly. Dream gritted his teeth underneath his mask, knowing that this  wasn't a safe place, considering if one of the other people here said that they were usually hit by the 'Ringmaster'or 'Boss' of this place. Dream then looked at the clock. It was about 3:56 PM. About 4 more minutes until they'd stop by to see them. Dream went over to the couch and gently shook the two, hoping to wake them up. Sapnap's eyes flickered open, and he kind of jumped back. ' '... Dream? Where are we?' ' Sapnap asked, nervously. ' ' Some kind of circus, we're supposed to be some sort of 'new attraction' for this place. The head ringmaster says we have 'special powers that need awakening'. ' '  Dream quotes, using air quotes. ' ' If you don't mind, can you go and wake up Bad? He's in the bedroom over there, but he's asleep. ' ' Dream asked Sapnap, and Sapnap nodded slowly, getting up and going into the bedroom that they had. ' ' George.. George you need to get up. ' ' Dream said, shaking George a little bit harder. George bolted up, his goggles falling down onto his face but kind of crooked. They weren't straight across his nose, is what it meant. ' ' Finally, you're awake. ' ' Dream stated, sitting onto the couch next to George as he fixed his goggles onto his face. Dream and George looked over to the door leading to the bedroom as a yawning Bad and a stretching Sapnap walked out of the room. ' ' Where the heck even are we? ' ' Bad asked, yawning once again. Dream looked at the clock again. 4:00. They will be stopping by soon, and they hope it's gonna be a good encounter, not a bad one. A loud knocking was heard on the door as George and the rest had just got done reading the note that was given to Dream about 10 minutes earlier. The door was heard unlocking, then it opened, revealing a somewhat tall male with a cane in a fancy suit stood in the doorway. The male strolled in, bowing in front of the four males. Dream, George, Bad, and Sapnap.

' ' Greetings! My name is Draco. The Head Ringmaster here at Oddity Circus! Come with me, and we'll begin your training to unlock your abilities! ' ' He greeted, and bowed once again, twirling the cane he held in his hand. He had small dragon wings and a tail. He seemed to have some sort of abilities too. ' ' Come along now. ' ' He stated, beckoning them to follow. Dream and the rest followed Draco to a very open field, it was very green and grassy, but cut short. Flowers were dotting the plain, and you could smell the fresh summer air. It smelled like honey, mixed with a bit of candy, but not enough to overwhelm the person smelling the air. Perfect for sparring, training, relaxing, and more. ' ' Now, let's try something... You, ' ' He said, pointing at Sapnap. ' ' Come here, let's see if one of you reacts to this. ' '  He said as Sapnap walked over, though to admit, he walked over pretty cautiously. He grabbed Sapnap's arm as his hand turned into a claw. Suddenly Sapnap's arm was bleeding as Draco's claws dug into the skin on his arm. Dream looked around at his remaining friends, and saw George perk up, then was next to Sapnap in an instant. Draco was about to slash at his arm again, but George suddenly had angel wings, and he was blocking/protecting Sapnap with both of  his large wings wrapped around them both. George was healing Sapnap, slowly but surely. Dream stood there in shock, taking a step back on instinct. He didn't expect this at all. "I never expected this at all.. So we DO have powers or abnormal abilities, huh.." Dream thought, keeping his stance with one foot behind him. ' ' See? That has awakened your guardian angel powers! Now, for the rest of you, you have to figure out what triggers your inner powers. You'll have to do it without me though, I have to do some paperwork.Oh, and, when you're finished, go by and introduce yourselves to the other attractions, okay? Now, Toodles! ' ' Draco said, and with a swish of his cane he had disappeared. To where? They don't know. Dream saw George pick up a fainted Sapnap, and wanting to know if he was okay, he and Bad quickly walked over to George, asking questions frantically. They were both sort of panicking.
' ' Guys, he's fine, just needs some rest. You two can try to figure out what you can do. I'll watch from a bit away, and I'll be sitting by him. Don't worry about us. ' ' George said, smiling softly. Dream and Bad both nodded, watching them walk away to a nice shady spot underneath a tall tree. Bad and Dream looked to each other. ' ' So.. How do we figure this out? ' ' Bad asked, putting a hand on his chin. Dream just noticed that everyone was their MC skins, so maybe that had to do with something? ' ' If I were you, I'd try transforming first, you never know what concentration could get you to. ' ' Dream said to Bad, and Bad nodded. Bad closed his eyes and focused his energy on transforming. A red mist swirled around Bad, and Dream stepped back a few paces to give him some room.

Suddenly Bad sneezed, and the mist instantly cleared. Bad had his hood up now, a pair of red horns on his head. He had one devil wing, and one angel wing protruding from his back, and part of  his skin was pitch black around one of his eyes, but his eyes were a very light gray color. He also had a mini red demon tail. To be honest, Bad looked kind of cute if someone were to draw it. Dream stopped stepping back, and exclaimed,  ' ' Bad, you did it! ' '  Bad instantly became really happy for himself.
' ' R-Really? Yayyy!! ' '  He started bouncing around happily too. He was being adorably happy, so all Dream did was laugh at his reaction. (No, I do not ship Bad and Dream, I was just making a cute moment.) ' ' Now, you try to do it! ' '  Bad said excitedly. Dream closed his eyes beneath his mask. He focused, trying to do what Bad had done, trying to focus on a transformation, seeing he could reach it. After a few minutes, Dream opened his eyes, seeing Bad's saddened expression. ' ' Let me guess.. It didn't work? ' '  Bad shook his head, very sadly. Dream looked to the ground, then back to Bad.  ' ' Oooh! I have an idea! How about we test your emotional connection to a form or ability? ' ' Bad suggested, tilting his head to the side. Dream thought for a moment, putting a hand beneath his mask onto his chin.  ' ' That could work. I guess we can try. ' '  Bad nodded, happy to have agreed on something. Bad then spoke, suggesting to start.

' ' Okay, so how about we start with sadness? ' '
