Circus Oddity (A Dream Team AU)

(CHAPTER 4 START)

When Bad and Sapnap approached, Dream was crying into George's shirt and repeating a single phrase. ' ' I'm sorry, I lost again. ' ' He was referring to losing himself to his.. "Other side" when they were fighting. George was hugging Dream and was trying to calm him down, and he kept telling Dream that 'It's okay now..' and 'I'm alright, you didn't hurt me, see? I'm right here.' One of those phrases was a lie though. George was covered in bruises from being thrown around by Dream. Small cuts littered his face and arms, still from the damage Dream had done. Bad looked away from the sad scene, and looked at Sapnap. ' 'I.. George.. What was that..? ' ' Bad asked nervously, rubbing one of his arms. ' ' You know when we do manhunts, right? ' ' George said as Bad nodded slowly. ' ' You know when he suddenly gets boosts of strength and speed when facing us head on, and he has no potions? Yeah, that's his 'other' side. It's an evil side, it just wants to see people suffer.. Or.. Die.. ' ' George explained. Bad and Sapnap's eyes widened. ' ' You knew about this and didn't tell us?! ' ' Sapnap said, crossing his arms.
' ' So.. That's why you ran away usually when we were head on facing him during those.. ' ' Bad said.
' 'That's also why he'd randomly disappear and then reappear. ' ' George said, explaining a bit more.
(Note: This is only for this AU that it happened, plus, if they get hurt, they still have the minecraft-like aspects and will respawn in the last place they slept. They also have the health bar, but not the hunger bar, and they don't turn red when hit.)

" Well, well! I see you all had some fun without me, Eh? ' ' A voice boomed from over them. It was Draco, supposedly done with his paperwork that he had to do. Dream now had fallen asleep in George's lap from crying so much. He seemed very peaceful, despite the battle they had just had earlier. Bad yelled in surprise. ' ' You scared the muffins outta me! ' ' Sapnap and George chuckled when they heard Bad say that. Dream just shifted in his sleep, still laying on George's lap.

' ' Anyways! You all should go around the area so that you can introduce yourselves. I'll be around if you need me. Oh! Also, tell everyone that we'll be hosting a 'Hide and Seek' Event with about 60 guests, but after closing, and at night. They'll get what you mean when you tell them that. If you want to know what the H.S.E. is, which is the event, ask around, and they'll tell you. Anyways, Toodles! ' ' Draco said, waving, then disappeared. They each looked at each other, still wondering what and when the H.S.E is. George shook Dream lightly, and his emerald eyes flickered open. He seemed pretty majestic with the glowing eyes of his. ' ' Hmm..? ' ' Dream asked, blinking slowly. "Dream, we gotta go back, can you please get up?" George asked. Dream nodded, getting up and looking around for his mask. Once he found it, he put it on. It was no longer the frowning face like before, it was the normal face, or, well, the smile of his normal mask. They all decided to head back to the campus of the Circus, also deciding to tell everyone they came across that was working as a staff member/attraction about the H.S.E.
