THROUGH THE RABBIT HOLE

Entry 1: Goodbye old life

Have you ever felt like you don't belong in this group, community, or maybe family? Asif you were placed here because nobody else wants you? Maybe you don't fit in with the rest of the family? In my case, I'm mentally unwell as my dad said before he passed away... My mom always called it a phase but it started when I was five today I'm fifteen turning sixteen in a few weeks. It's not easy moving to a new or well, old town. Never mind the packing and unpacking it's harder leaving my old life behind and starting a new one. And it's even worse moving to a place that's called Windland as if it's out of some storybook or something. Oh well, here we go anyways...

"Alex, get off your laptop and come lend help packing Dear!" Her mother Calls from outside. "Ugh, coming mom!" She called back. Closing her laptop she noticed the rapped up gift her dad gave her for her sixth birthday to this day she hasn't opened it.

"Why do we have to move mom?" "It's for the best Dear. I know it's hard but our time here has come to an end, Anyways I hear Windland is a very nice town it may be small but it has a great school and very kind people who know you may make new, better, friends maybe meet a cute boy." She winks at Alex. "Mom no one will nor can ever replace my friends here and what's wrong with my friends here, Jolene isn't that bad." She glares at her mom as she rolls her eyes. "NOT THAT BAD!? Sneaking out at night, meats up with boys while she has to be in school, using fake IDs to get into clubs, and let me remind you that she came here 3 AM because of some boy she had trouble with. I bet she even slept with another boy every night. I'm especially glad we're moving away from that girl." "Mom stop overreacting that boy she had trouble with was trying to get her in his bed and started stalking her, don't forget she's trying to change."

As they were arguing Jolene came running up to they're front lawn. "Hey Al how's it going?" she greeted giggling. "Hey Jojo we were just talking about ya," She said while hugging her best friend. Her mother glares at them as she carries a box to the moving truck. "Aww I feel special, all the good things I hope." She said giggling. "Don't flatter yourself" Alex's mother said walking back into the house. "What's that all about?" "Don't worry too much she's still trying to let go of some things that are if she's trying..." They both bursts out laughing "Are you here to help?" Alex asked wide-eyed. "Yeah, what the heck, why not?" she smiled as she starts carrying boxes to the moving truck. "Thanks, you're a lifesaver, so much boxes so little time." She smiles.

Later that day

"So any plans for your new life?" Jolene asked Alex while stomping her mouth full Peanut butter and jelly sandwich. "No, not really... I can't just leave and move on with my life. I need you!" "No, you don't you just need someone that can tame you and keep you in check, saying that did you remember to drink your pills I don't want you guys to have an accident on the road." Alex jumps up and runs to another room yelling, "THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME!!!! Wow, what will I do without you?" Jolene sits and stares into the nothingness for a moment and suddenly says "I think you... we should make a to-do list for the year for you?" "Like what Number 1 Remember to brush your teeth. Remember not to murder someone cough mom cough." She says giggling As Jolene bursts out laughing. "No seriously like for instance Number one make good friends. Number two find interesting ways to spend your time... You know the fun stuff." "This is a good Idea let me grab a piece of paper and a pen to write this down." She says while jumping up to grab a pen and paper and scribbles the first two things on her paper. "What should number three be? Oh, I know how about Find a really cute guy and stalk him?" she says in a funny lover's girl tone while giggling. "Nah that's so middle school, AH... How about find a cute guy to take your v..." Alex interrupts her disgustedly "Jojo no, I haven't even given my first kiss away never mind my virginity. Anyways I'm saving it for the one." "WAIT WHAT? You still have your first... Oh dang, uhm fine, how about, Number three find the one..." she says in a suggestive tone.

"ByeJojo I'm gonna miss you," Alex says with tears in her eyes as they hug eachother goodbye for the last time. "No, I'm gonna miss you more. Bye Al. Goodbye MissCooper. Even though you never liked me, you were always like a mother to me andI will never forget you." For the first time, Alex's mom pulled Jolene closerand gave her a tight hug. Jolene stood there in tears on the front lawn of TheCooper's old house until their car has disappeared into the darkness beforerunning back home. Just outside LA Alex finally fell asleep

Alex wakes up in a garden, people are standing around drinking tea. They were wearing suits and dresses looking all fancy. Suddenly a strange-looking rabbit wearing a suit and tie hopped past her. She ran after it trying to get a closer look around trees they went deeper and deeper into the garden when suddenly the white rabbit jumped into a rather large hole just below the shade of a magnificent tree. Alex looked down the hole staring into the deep nothingness of the rabbit hole when suddenly her foot slipped and she lost her balance, and finally down the hole she went. As she fell she noticed everything she knows and loves of the place where she once was was spiraling away into nothing but colors spinning around her as she fell into the nothingness...
