Entry 2: Hello new "home"

What's better than moving? Uhm not moving, like seriously. I hate moving... saying goodbye to my old friends, old school, old house oh and don't forget my old life. It took me nine years to find myself and it took a Sixteen-hour trip to lose... EVERYTHING. Well not literally, I meant like mentally...

"Alex, how many times do I have to talk to you about that laptop of yours?" Alex's mom fixes the mirror to look at her with stern eyes. "Seriously mom? What else can I do? There's no signal, we're ten hours away from our 'New' home and I can't sleep..." She says annoyed. "Well young lady maybe you can be like a normal human being and keep your tired mom company!" Her mother answers sternly as Alex roles her eyes.

She decides to put her earphones in and listen to music for the rest of the way. After the third song, she started to fall asleep. When the song 'Mad Hatter' of Melanie Martinez came up she woke up in a strange place. She couldn't exactly put her finger on why it's strange... until she bumped into a huge mushroom with a massive blue caterpillar sitting on top of it smoking a hookah. "Well hello, young girl. Are you lost?" the blue caterpillar asked her calmly. "Uhhh- b-big... b-blue... w-worm" she gulps and pulls herself together "Uhm yes, where am I, Can you help me?" she looked at him with fear in her eyes. "Oh, so you're new here? Well, Welcome to Wonderland!" He said blowing smoke into the confused Alex's face, she burst out coughing.

Suddenly Alex woke up still coughing as her mother looked at her worried through the rearview mirror. "Are you okay?" Alex stopped the music, put her headset aside, and assured her mom that she was fine. "It was just another strange dream, nothing to worry about..." she smiled nervously trying to convince herself.

After what felt like decades the silver mini van pulls up in a rather large vintage house's driveway. "Wait! Is this our new house!?" Alex looks up surprised. She jumped out of the car the moment it came to hold. "DAAAAAMN MOM THIS PLACE IS HUUUUGE!" She exclaims energetically while running through the side gate to the back a beautiful but rather interesting garden comes to view.

From majestic trees to beautiful red roses and even exotic looking mushrooms in between. Alex walks over to the beautiful canopy swing standing between the two large trees. "Wow this place is so beautiful, I cant believe it... I cant believe this is really our new home." She looks around sitting down on the canopy swing admiring the view.

Alex's POV

One of the moving trucks showed up a few hours later we started unpacking the boxes after emptying the truck, my mom got off the phone with a worried expression after unpacking her room. Turns out the truck with our larger furniture had to take a detour because of an accident but then it broke down along the way, it might only be here by tomorrow. I cant believe it, new house, no bed, no couch and no fridge. My eyes start to tear up, all my life I've been an emotional wreck getting sad about things that doesn't even matter that much, I hate that about myself I hate that I'm so out of control when it comes to my emotions.

My thoughts was cut off by my moms voice coming from the doorway. "So McDonalds or Pizza hut?" Looking over to my mom with a frown on my face. "Wait what? How do you dare leave kentucky out of the selection?" Jumping up dramatically while acting furious, but instead my mom replies with a face palm. While giggling I decided to be a little overdramatic and yell "I WANT CHICKEN NUGGETS!!"

All the way to the fastfood restaurant I was cheering "CHICKEN NUGGETS" If you haven't noticed yet, yes I'm a little obsessed with nuggets, yeah so what some people smoke other people drink but I... I eat chicken nuggets.

After waiting for hours we finally left the drive through, I couldn't wait to get home so I started munching on my nuggets, I love nuggets... "You should slow down there if you eat that fast you might not have anything left for later hun." My mom states the obvious from the drivers side. "Later is later and now is now and now I have and want CHICKEN NUGGETS!" 

Okay so, its time for me to brag a little, our new house is two stories, the basic house is on the first story with the kitchen, living room, dining room, large bathroom and the main bedroom, but on the second story theres another living room, a smaller bathroom, an activities room and two bedrooms,but guess what? I LIVE ALONE ON THE SECOND STORY ITS ALL MINE!!

Lying alone in the dark on a mattress on the ground is not comfy at all, especially not when its a completley different place than you are used to, ever since we got here something felt strange. This place has a strange vibe. No not like a hainted house in matter of fact I'm not just referring to the house but the entire town it's just off. I've been lying awake for the past 4 hours talking to myself. Okay that's it, wheres my laptop I might as well check how's things back in LA and while I'm at it I can update my blog.

Dear subscribers sorry for not updating recently, like I told you all last time, we were moving 16 hours later we're in this new world different strange and ass odd as something out of a fairytale book or something. You'll never guess what happened to us...

Hey guys sorry for taking so long to update these days. When I started writing on wattpad back then I was 12 now I'm 17 and yeah my writing I believe has improved alot and I really hope this story will be more successful than my other stories, please cote (vote and comment) and tell me what you think and if you want to you can drop some ideas and tell me what you expect from the story.
