"You close with your family?" Ayla asked

"That's nice." Ayla smiled she wished she was a close to her family like other people was with theirs.

"A hairstylist." Ayla said and Karter smiled

"Getcho scary ass out tha car." Karter said laughing

"Fuck witcha later lil mama." Karter said as Ayla got out the car and she walked towards her house

Karter pulled off as soon as he saw her go inside

"Where was you?" Her father said

"Living my best life." Ayla mumbled

"I was with a friend.." she said

"You think your funny me and you mother was worried sick about you." Her father said

"Stop acting like y'all care for me. Cause y'all don't, I ain't got nobody in this house but myself." Ayla said as her father kept quiet

"Exactly, please leave me alone like you've been doing." Ayla said closing her door and locking it and she sat on her bed and her phone rung

"Hello." She said answering the face time call from Karter

"You good." Karter said looking down at his phone and Ayla nodded her head
