[ Narrator's P.O.V ] The journey from the castle to the village does not take long to reach. The path taken is semi bumpy but it's nothing to complain about when you have a beautiful scenery right beyond the carriage window slider. You can hear crickets, hidden in the bushes, and you can spot lightning bugs roaming the night, flashing their little tails to entertain the guests making their way home.

The castle holds these rides every Friday to allow castle staff to visit their families for the weekend, and the schedule for return would be on Monday or until the Friday of that week. There's indeed people waiting at the village to return to their workspace after their vacation, so the conductor decides to speed it up.
Adrien sleeps peacefully during the ride after working himself out, providing and baking for the castle. Benefit is, he gets rewarded well, and he visits his mother to give her his savings. He hasn't visited her in two weeks and is excited to see what she's up to. He knows she doesn't sleep early on a Friday, so he wants to catch her off guard. His plans for the weekend include taking his mom to village festivities, picking flowers and helping her with her market, cooking for her and bond like any child would do with their mother. He's excited.
