[ Adrien's P.O.V ]
I don't know if it's my mind playing tricks on me, or if I'm still asleep in the carriage, or if this is real in general, but I swear I'm looking at an exact look a like of Rick, who I swear stayed at the castle. You know what? Maybe I'm on drugs and this is messing with my head. Yeah , it's that.
"By the way, you're not on drugs or anything. This is all real, buddy." Rick spoke. MERDE- WHAT'S GOING ON?
"How- Quoi- when- So- I'm about to faint."
"Oh boy, please don't. It will all make sense in a moment, but please sit down and let me explain." The little old man gestured his hand and I obeyed. I sat in the floor.
"You see, son, you're indeed not hallucinating," he began, "Let me ask you, what do you think just happened?"
".. I'm going to sound mental but for some reason Rick just happened to be the cat that lured me here.." I said. The old man gave me a grin.
"Very good, Adrien. To reassure you, that did happen."
"What-" I choked.
"It's okay bud you'll understand. I'm not human."
"WHAT?"
"Yes, Adrien, he isn't human. For sure you two have met each other a couple of months ago at the castle, am I correct?" He asked.
"Yes, sir.."
"Well as you can see, I have known Rick for a very long time. He's been a companion of mine for the entire time and I have full trust on him."
I nod.
"What you've encountered just now, Adrien, is called a transfiguration. Rick here, isn't human, but instead he is a Kwami." He pointed at Rick.
"A Kwami? Uh, what's that ?" Is that how he calls cats?
"Yes, a Kwami. Rick, show him you're true form."
I turn to look at Rick who was smirking, when all of a sudden he goes POOF. A sudden purple-ish black smoke hides his figure. I cover my eyes thinking that it would hurt if the smoke got inside them, and as soon as I looked again, I couldn't find him.
"Sir, is he gone? I don't see him.." I said. looked all around and no sign of Rick anywhere.
"He's right here, Adrien." The old man points to a specific part in the air, and then I see two green, tiny eyes open up to look at me.
