Todoroki's POV:

He moves to take off the cuffs. Then stops suddenly and looks off to the left almost if thinking about something.

"I guess I should do that." He says thoughtfully as he stands and grabs a glass and something off of a nearby table. "Take this." Leaving no room for argument, he puts the pill up to my mouth. Realizing what it is, I turn my head away. He whispers menacingly in my ear. "You know, as well as I, that the second I take off that quirk canceling cuffs, you'll use your quirk to fight back. So take this pill, prove to me that you won't try to escape."

Midoriya's POV:

Did I take it to far? He seems to be shaking out of fright.

"Okay" He said, snapping me out of my thoughts. He turned his head back to my hand, openly his mouth slightly to take the pill. I then hold up the glass do he can take a swallow of water.

I then waited a few minutes, in silence, for the pill to take affect.

"It should be in effect now." Hopelessness laced his voice.

"Good," for multiple reasons of course. He seems to already be breaking, and I don't have to attempt to control myself.

I take the hand cuffs off. He rubbs his wrist giving me a stare that could kill.

Todoroki POV:

I then try to make my move as he turns around. I grab the key out of his back left pocket. Quickly putting it in my own pocket, I resume my previous position staring at him willing him to just drop to the floor unconscious.

After he turned around, I get up to move as far as away as physically possible which just happened to be the bueatiful, red oak wood, white curtained canopy bed with a red silk bedspread.

We then engaged into a very long, very awkward, silence which he spent observing me as I stared at my hands, willing him to go away.

"Well I guess I'll leave you to it." He said as he left the room. I waited I few minutes to use the key.

I approached it very quietly, taking care to unlock the door and turn the doorknob in a way in which it wouldn't squeak and pushed to find....
