Laxus frowned seeing Kael coming down, he had not expected his plan to fail, but he couldn't be bothered by it now, as the man touched down and stood there looking at him all you could see was his eyes, his mask covered his mouth to see the frown it held.

"That wasn't nice Laxus, you could have seriously hurt someone or worse".

Cracking his neck Laxus powered up again as Lightning crackled around him.

Kael just stood there watching, he felt the power of Lucian, but it felt corrupted in a way.

Without a second thought Laxus made his move and raced ahead throwing a punch.

At the last second Kael caught it as the wind backlashed against the city, the two stood in the church courtyard.

Mira helped Freed along to watch the fight as Lisanna went to Natsu.

Gray and Elfman did the same for Bickslow, as they stood in wonder.

Evergreen and Erza now disheveled looked on with baited breath.

Natsu and Gajeel finally woke as Lisanna and Levy came to them to see if they needed the anything.

Laxus clicked his teeth in frustration as he moved back and began his assault with a barrage of kicks and punches while Kael dodged them, he looked as if he wasn't even trying at this point.

"Unreal" Gray said.

Kael quickly decked Laxus in the face sending him flying.

"You'll have to do better then that boy! I told you i would whoop your ass, stand down" Kael stated coldly.

Laxus stood up spitting a glob of blood out as he smirked, it was then that Kael saw it, Laxus eyes glazed over turning a shade of indigo, which showed him he was under some sort of spell.

"Lets see you take this!" he said as he took in a deep breath.

Natsu, Wendy and Gajeel looked on in shock, while Kael stood there waiting.

"Lightning Dragon's Roar".

A torrent of yellow lightning shot from his mouth at Kael.

At the same time another attack came that no one expected at all.

"Sky Dragon's Roar".

Which hit Laxus square knocking him down hard.

"Now dad!" Wendy yelled before she passed out from the strain of that attack.

Kael made his way to the downed second gen. Grabbing out a special seal he slammed it on Laxus chest and he screamed out as the essence of the spell evaporated of his body shocking those who watched.

Makarov was wondering what had happened, as Kael stood back up and looked at the old man with just rage.

"Master we have an issue".

Back in the office the old man sighed, "so he was being controlled, he said taking a big gulp of his drink before setting it down and looking at Kael.

"Yes, he had a loyalty spell, compulsion spell and mind altering spell".

The old man rubbed his head slightly, "Ivan" was all he said.

This got Kael's attention.

"He was my son in law, Laxus mother was my daughter, after Laxus was born Ivan changed, he became much darker and hellbent on power, Ella tried to make it work but it soon apparent he no longer loved her or Laxus. He and our second master fled after they tried to stage a coup of Fairy Tail, Ella was killed in the chaos and Laxus hated both his father and Precht, i had always thought it weird but never thought this would happen" Makarov said as a few tears left his eyes.
