Chapter 3 : Starting Over

As soon as our flight number was said. I felt my heart race. But I knew this was something that I had to do, for my own good and benefit.

Charlotte : Are you ready ?

Lia : As ready as I'll ever be.

I will not deny it. I was scared of being away from my parents, but I had my reasons. I will be studying my major far from them and from home. My bigger brother Liam still does not know about my brother John's dead. Now that I think about it...he wasn't even in the funeral. Liam confessed to my parents he had other preferences...my mother still supported him with him but my dad...I guess you can say he was in shock. Of course, "As a man you are expected to bring grandchildren to the world, and create your own family." Me? I was too young to even understand it... When I was 14 and I asked my mother about my brother Liam. Why I could not see him anymore, she explained everything to me. I was sad, but in the end...he chose what made him happy.

Later they went into a taxi to go to their apartment.

Lia : Hello. My name is Lia, this is my friend Charlotte.

Receptionist : How may I help you ?

Charlotte : So we booked room 340.

Receptionist : Ok I understand. The room is in the third floor you might want to use the elevator.

Receptionist : Here are the keys.

As soon as the receptionist gave us the keys we stoped listening to the receptionist and walked so fast we wanted the explore out new rooms.

Receptionist : You may want to know that - forget it.

I opened to the door of our apartment and...there was a guy with a white skin tone, blue eyes and white hair. He was dressed in an elegant suit. Besides him there was a girl with a medium skin tone and charcoal hair. I didn't knew what they were doing here but this is MY apartment.

Charlotte : Who are you ?

Irene : My name is Irene.

The girl besides him answer.

Boy : Why the questions ?

Charlotte : This is our apartment.

Boy : Did you read the contract ?

Lia : Well...of course we did.

Boy : Then you must have known there will be three guests living here.

Charlotte : Of course.
