Chapter 5 : Dance

I wanted to escape. The only reason I was going to this...dance anniversary with this guy...is because...Lila thought it will be a good idea and then of course food. But then...why do I feel like I am cheating and somehow disrespecting John. I most be out of mind. Do I miss him? Yes. And I guess that is the reason why I feel like this. But the day has come...and I can't just leave Sebastian alone. Futhermore, I have made a promise to him and promises are meant to be kept.

But if I was suppoused to be worried about anyone or anything...it should be Lila. She had several  things to say to me.I was getting ready to go to the dance. I was wearing a blue dress not so long but still elegant. Soon enough I hear someone knocking on my door.  It was Irene  what most she be doing here ? I thought Sebastian was serious about me... Well this just gives me one more reason to dump this and go alone. It's better like that.

Irene : Have you seen Lila?

Charlotte : Well she should be here in around a second.

Irene : Thank you. May I come in??

Charlotte : Sure.

Lila enters to the living room.

Lila : Irene...

Irene : You look incredible tonight.

Lila : Don't I always??

Irene : You always do is such tonight you look -

Lila : Chill, I was messing with you. And ehmmm..about the compliment thank you so much...

Charlotte : {Am I hallucinating or -}

Lila : Charlotte can I -

Charlotte : Of course.

Charlotte and Lila went to the kitchen

Charlotte : So uhm....

Lila takes a deep breath

Lila : So about what happened in the kitchen I want to say...

Charlotte : You don't have to explain it if you don't want to I will defidently understand if you don't want because you are allowed to have privacy and -

Lila : Stop !!

Charlotte : Ok.

Lila : Well uhm I -

Charlotte : Yeah?

Lila : This isn't my first time here.

Charlotte : What do you mean? 

Lila : Last summer I told you I went on a vacation.

Charlotte : True, your vacation was here??

Lila : Yes, I met Irene last summer as well and well I -

Charlotte : You two are a couple??

*Irene enters*

Irene : I guess you can say that

*Lila blushes*

Charlotte : Wow. Have you told your parents yet??

Lila : *sighs* I haven't told them yet...

Charlotte : Hey is ok. Don't worry I support you. This won't change anything between us.

Irene : {Charlotte is just a great friend.}

Lila : Thank you.

Irene : Who are you going to the dance with Charlotte??

Charlotte : I am going with Sebastian -

Lila : *surprised*

Charlotte : Don't look at me like that. This isn't a date.

Irene : Then why are you going with him??

Charlotte : Because I don't want to be left alone here in this apartment with nothing to do.

Irene : ...

Lila : Well I will go have fun. Come on Irene.

*Irene and Lila exit the room*

Charlotte : Since I am alone what is the worst that can happen. I will just listen to some music.

*Charlotte put her headphones on*

As I heard the music I let myself get lost in it...little by little until I simply started dancing.

*Sebastian enters*

|Sebastian|

She seemed so fragile and loose, like a doll such simply watching her dance was lovely. She was dancing ballet, and she looked so elegant. But as she turns around she notices me.

Charlotte : Wh- what are you doing here!!

Sebastian : Sorry I just came here for some water and saw you dancing. I am so sorry if I disturbed you.

Charlotte : I was here and -

*Charlotte takes deep breath*

Charlotte : I am so sorry I -

Sebastian : Hey is ok. You don't have anything to apologize for.
