Chapter 16 Pack territory

AN ok so that last chapter was intense. In this chapter I will write about embers wolf and of course great love shots. I hope you enjoy, if there's any way I can improve please let me know.

"She's been like this all day, she won't leave the bed." I heard autumn say to Alaric down stairs. Iv been in bed all day while Alaric was at work, it had been three days sense the kidnapping. I still haven't seen my wolf Nobel sense. I didn't have it in me to transition. "Look rover, or what not I need you to help my best friend. I miss her and she's depressed, she refuses to let us in." I loved how dusty portrayed his caring side. My neck was burning but I deserved it, I let my brother die. I know he deserved it I wasn't delusional, I just couldn't believe I could walk away from his slaughter. "Ok I will speak with her, thank you for your help truly I consider you my friends" that made my heart melt "awe you guys get in here." Autumn said and I know they hugged. "Fine friends, but just because I kind of like you, doesn't mean I'm going to rub your belly or play fetch with you." I enteral giggled. "Embers awake" I heard Alaric run up the stairs. Damn I'm not going any where fuck.

Soon he was by my side "ember sweetie talk to me." I looked at him. "I..." I said "that's right go on baby what's on your mind." I took a swap breath. "Alaric my brother is dead, though he hurt me and did many bad things it still hurts." he nodded "I understand, I had to do the same thing once." I looked into his eyes. "You.. you had to kill your brother?" He stood up and walked to the window I sat up too look at him. But he turned away to face the outside. " basically, he was my very best friend. When we were in the civil war, we fought together. I was always fond with the ladies and he was too, we would go out dancing and to bars. but, when I turned for the first time two years later he changed too. this was a kid I grew up with my whole life, I knew everything about him and he knew everything about me. When I told him about me being a werewolf he looked pissed. He told me his secret. in the war some one saved him a women. She was a vampire and turned him. At the time the civil war wasn't really a battle over slavery, we'll to us anyways, to humans he's. But to us it was a war against were wolves and vampires. He went and told the other vampires about me and they came to attack. but my pack attacked first killing him and the vampires who intruded. The last thing he said to me was sorry buddy."

I sat there for a long while contemplating what to say, I got up and walked to him. I placed my hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry, he really did love you I'm sure this wasn't supposed to happen." Alaric looked angry for a moment then composed himself. "He loved Pennsylvania, that's why me and my pack moved up here." I thought for a moment something was confusing me. "But you said you fought together, if he was from the north.." he cut me off. "Yes ma'am he moved down to the south because his family owned slaves and Pennsylvania was a free state." I nodded in understanding. "I'm so sorry Alaric." He turned and crashed me Into he's chest and held me in a tight hug. "You smell amazing." Then he smelled it my pain. "Ember baby, what's wrong your in pain" I nodded. "Alaric my necks been burning. "Kitten that's because that ducking no good low life bit your neck. Why didn't you say something" I shook my head "please Alaric make it stop why aren't I healing." He chuckled. "Because a wolf bit you." I nodded. Alaric grabbed the back of my head and brought his mouth to my neck, he licked it and cleaned it I moaned loudly. One thing led to another and we mated only after he bit my mark did the pain stop." Laying there I started to feel restless. I "know what you need baby" I looked at him funny "what's that." You need to let Nobel run." I looked out the window but only saw mountains and trees. "Here I'll show you."

Me and Alaric came to a cave, he pushed me to walk through. I have to admit fresh air felt great. Just in the other end of the cave was an opening, so this it like a tunnel. Just out side me eyes went wide. "Oh my, Alaric this is beautiful. I didn't know this existed." Looking out there was beautiful landscape, pure green landscape. Covered in grass with little cottages scattered here and there. it was as if I went through a portal to a different world. But I saw old Chevys and trucks at the cottages. Just on the other side of the odd square like hill, was a waterfall cascading down the mountain. there was mountains surrounding this place so it kept it hidden. "This is completely hidden ember no body can see us do this." He took off running. I shifted and chased after him. We ran and ran until sunset, then we shifted and walked home. "So who lives here." He smiled. "This is pack territory, my pack lives here like Alec and Pennington and autumn." I never knew this existed but it was my new personal paradise.
