Changing The Attitude

"Who wants to play Truth or Dare?" I turned around and saw Bryson, the school's popular football player, standing there while waiting for the other people to answer. The ones who want to play suddenly formed a circle, "Hey, Kat! What are you still doing there? Come, play with us!" My friend, Rylee, quickly sat with them. I smiled and sat beside her.

Bryson went to us with a bottle in his hand, "Let's start the game!" He exclaimed and sat. He spins the bottle on the floor and we waited for it to stop, it quickly slowed little by little when it suddenly stops at... ME. "Oh my god, Kat! You can do this," Rylee whispers at me and smiled, I facepalmed and sighed as I looked at Bryson.

"Okay, Katherine. Truth or Dare?" He leaned forward and smirked, "Or," I said then all of us chuckled. "Come on! Play the game seriously," Bryson said and Rylee smacks my arm, earning her a glare. "Just play it seriously," She whispers then I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, it's a dare,"

I saw the others whispering at each other while Bryson is thinking a dare. "Alright. Since Lance is not here, this is the dare. I dare you to change his attitude but it's more like make him fall in love with you, make his cold and rude attitude gone. This is our only chance, Katherine. Make him a good guy and get rid of his annoying attitude," He smirked then the others gasped.

"That'll be hard," One of us said and smirked, "I'll give you 3 months for this dare or else you have to pay me 1000 dollars. Anyways, remember that he should not know that this is a dare," Bryson continued. "You can do this, girl!" Rylee said and I plastered a fake smile on my face.

This will be a hard dare.

"Let's continue the game!" Rylee said then we continued to play.

I flopped myself into bed and buried my face to a pillow, "Ugh, why do I still have to do that dare?!" I exclaimed. "I'm such a stupid girl for agreeing to that," I continued and I sat up, my phone started to vibrate beside me and I answered the call.

"Hello?"

"Kat! You okay there?"

I realized Rylee's voice then I suddenly lay down to bed with an annoyed face, I regret answering the call.

"Actually, I'm not okay!"

"Woah, calm down. You can do this girl! You'll just have to make him fall in love with you, isn't it so easy?"

"Wait, what? Easy? Do you think this dare is so easy? Imagine, you are me. What will you think if Bryson dared you to do the dare that he gave me? Will you think that it's hard or not? Come on, Rylee! Make up your mind!"

"Oh. Okay, I got it. I'll help you to that dare,"

"Give me an idea,"

"Make him jealous with another guy?"

"Oh, god. That doesn't make sense"

"Alright, I'll think another idea,"

"Be quick,"

"What about this. Since he's been failing every test in every subject, what about tutor him? Ask permission to our principal if you could tutor him, the principal knows that he's been failing since our teacher reported about it in their previous meeting,"

"That's a great one! Thank you!"

I quickly hung up before she could say something else, Rylee really gave me an excellent idea! I'm proud I had a smart friend like her. I continued to think about some things that popped in my mind until I fell asleep.

I went downstairs, fully dressed for school with my bag. "Where's Mom?" I asked my sister, Kylie, who's eating her breakfast. "She went to the office early since they will have a meeting," She said and continued to eat, I nodded and started to make my cereal.

I sat in front of her and started to eat my cereal while thinking about some ideas about how I should ask the principal. "KATHERINE!" Kylie exclaimed and I accidentally drop the spoon that I was holding in the bowl, "Woah, why shout?" I said as I hold my chest.

"You're spacing out, what's the thought?" She asked, "None of your business," I said. "Oh, come on," She whined then I rolled my eyes. "Fine, Bryson dared me to make Lance fall in love with me," She choked at her food and quickly drink her water.

"What?! That's an amazing dare!" She said and laughed, "What's so funny about it? It's the worst dare that I have ever got," I rolled my eyes and put my chin in my hand as my hand rests in the table. "You can do that, girl! Believe me!"

"Ugh, I'm going to school now," I stood up and grabbed my bag from the other chair and went outside, "Kat!" I looked beside me and saw Rylee who was waving at me. She quickly ran beside me and began to walk. "You nervous about it?" She asked then I nodded, "What if he gets angry that all of that was just a dare and fake?" I asked then she sighed.

"I don't know, it's all up to you in the future," She said, "I don't want this dare but I also don't want to pay Bryson 1000 dollars, I really regret choosing dare," I said and rolled my eyes. "It's your fault," She laughs then I fake laughed, "Ha ha ha," I rolled my eyes once again.

"You will go with me to the office of the principal. Agree or disagree, you will still go with me," I said, "Oh, man. That's not fair! You will just ask her if you can tutor him, it's not like she will be mad at you by asking that," She said. "It's also not fair! What's wrong about you going with me to the principal's office? It's not like she will be mad at us about you going with me!" I said back.

We reached the school and went to our classroom and sat at our seats, "What time will we go to the office?" Rylee asked. "We'll go after all the classes," I said then she nodded then our professor started to teach.
